I am sure Rolling first ripped it all to his hard drive and downloaded to Google from there, right Rolling?

TBF you can move it to YT music for free and play it from there for free. The only fly in the ointment is that if you wish to play on a mobIle device you can't play in the background without YT music premium. Or when your screen locks.

How do I know if my telly is 4k? I bought a new one a couple of years ago but I gave no thought to that parameter. Are you one of those people that doesn't do extensive research before buying a new television?

Duh, of course I ripped them to my hard drive first. Admittedly, I then had to delete them from my hard drive as it is very small.

And when will you people learn that cloud services are just a company's servers, one that they're waiting to pull from under your feet as soon as you announce to the Chatterbox that you've ripped all of your music there?
I'll be in my bunker.

surely a 4k tv should be priced at £4,000? That's why it is called so.

I reckon I poured about 4 hours in to my last telly purchase, which included reading Amazon reviews, various industry reviews and measuring the available space.

I used to buy TVs all wrong by simply rocking up to Argos, looking for a tv in my price range that was heavily reduced to get into that range and going for that. I didn't even look at resolution for my last telly.

TV buying: Two months of research then one month of procrastination and then after they discontinue the one you've chosen you start all over again.
<edit>This also applies to computers, in fact anything that uses electricity.

I dunno - it *seems* to be saying that you can only stream your uploads to an external device if you have a premium account. I can feel a firmly worded letter to Sergey and the lads coming on.

I'll tell you one thing TV reviews don't tell you - how frustrated you'll be with the "smart" interface.
While I enjoy being able to open streaming services from my television, I do not enjoy them hanging or deciding that my TV isn't connected to the internet when it clearly is...
Sony's user-interface has wound me up so much that I'll probably go with a Panasonic set next time round.
