Just had a game of monopoly with the child. After an early lead by her I reigned victorious. Off to the workhouse with you!
It's the one with a wee computer and credit cards. It was a present. I was sceptical at first but it works well.

Anyway, hello all.
Gamesblog: Skyrim. Destruction training at level 70+ gets very expensive... currently delving into caves and dungeons just to get that final training so I can level.
TVblog: first three episodes of the wonderful Staged. And a Community.
Amigablog: spent yesterday morning going through the big-box of CD32 games I received, and played a number of them. Gunship 2000 is very good on the system. Rise of the Robots is still absolute shit.

Morning all! Its everyones favourite bruhahaha causer, the mussels from Brussels, its Terry Dakyl!
I've noticed a distinct correlation between not drinking and feeling rough the next morning. Fortunately I have plentiful supplies of cider.
Games - Animal Croissant - seems like there are new bugs about in July. Good times. And today is the day! I may have to stop for a crossing break at lunch time. Went back to Tokyo Fire Emblem Mirage Sessions #FireEmblem, the pace of the battles makes it all very snappy and surprisingly addictive. Learned the hard way that it doesn't autosave and lost half an hours progress. TB.
TV - no
OTTM - estate agents really are the best aren't they? Lovely people all round.

Well, at least the weather is shite. That should make people stay at home instead of going to the pub to have a warming drink... oh.
The thermostat has decided to switch the radiators on. In July. Turned it down and put a warmer top on before Greta got wind of it.

I remember the CD32 days. Liberation was cool. That was the first time I'd experienced a 'celebrity' (Neil Morrissey) doing voices in a game.
27 years ago that came out?! That information requires me to drink one consolation beer

I like the guardian graphic of what pub reopening “could look like”. It seems.... optimistic. Maybe for a Friday lunchtime in South Kensington, not so much for a Saturday night in Swaffham.

You've not been to the Sloaney Pony (White Horse) at Parsons Green when Fulham or Chelsea are playing I guess. It's not quite South Kensington, but not far away.

The G is based in trendy Kings Cross* not south Ken.
*The sort of place a Guardian journalist would have got mugged with 20 seconds before gentrification.

To be honest I only said south Ken because it’s the only place in London I’ve been in a pub. I don’t really see the appeal of pubs, they’re full of the worst kind of people - other people.

Elvis C was actually perusing the ready meals in M and S. Maybe that's one of his b-sides?

Elvis C was actually perusing the ready meals in M and S. Maybe that's one of his b-sides? He wrote a song about the Hoover Factory that is now a Tesco at Perivale. I used to go there quite regularly, but I did not see Elvis there. I can give directions to it however.

I was going to buy a ticket to see Mr C in Cardiff on 16 March. I was not certain it was convenient and I was still debating the idea when the concert was cancelled.
Great story.

I once saw Tina Turner in the ready meals aisle in Morrisons. I asked if she was here for the value range chicken madras. She shook her head and sang "simply the best".
Boo-urns?
What are we doing?
