Double post? It was a pretty good joke.
You have no idea how long I have been waiting to do the Pontius Pilates joke. Years

morning all,
£180 mug, cutting edge journalism there from the Graun. Remind me why I haven't subscribed?
Gaming. Finally got down and dirty with the siege bit in Civ VI. It's nice not having the unhappiness bonus and all that. The importance of culture in the game is becoming more apparent. Enjoying although the AI is still baffling at times.

Mugs are for mugs. Teabag on the tongue, water down your oesophagus straight from the kettle, or gtfo.

Afternoon all.
I've got the day off, so spent the morning going through the rest of the big box of CD32 games that I didn't manage last week. And I also played some Skyrim, which I shall be returning to shortly.

Melvazord Talk to me about your sweet yoga moves. I had a 6 month dalliance with it last year, but stopped after I hurt my arm getting out of the bath (not a yoga move, NB). I really struggled with the ones where you stood on your shoulders, and am pretty sure I would have broken my neck at one point if the lady in charge hadn't grabbed my ankles before I tipped over. I'm a pilates convert now. I've been following this bloke on youtube Sean VigueHes just enough of a Californian-sun-and-happiness-dude-type hippy you believe he knows what hes talking about but not so much you want to smash his skull in with a rock.* Dolphin makes me want to kill myself and everyone around me, it's one of my favourites because you end up being so glad it's just over. *its this kind of attitude that the yoga is doing nothing to suppress.

Afternoon all.
9-5 is shit. That's all I have.
Actually, it isn't, I have ganes chat. Persona 5 Royal arrived Monday, 5 days later than ebay promised. Bastards. Anyway, postie came early enough for me to have spent a decent whack on it. So far so good. Managed to do the full first dungeon in one run though (well, as much as you can), so I was pleased with that. Dislike the new dungeon system (the fact that it wastes 3 days to do, rather than one, time is short enough in these games!), and the new Persona recruiting system, and the cat. Still 4*s up to now though, story and human characters seem ok (the 'goodies' that is).

Afternoon. Mid july, and I've got a winter wooly on. Cricket weather indeed!
Mrs gong was recalled from furlough... this means 2 things. One - she is in a shite mood - two - Games!
Fancied a bit of trolling round in Elite, but have forgotton all my keybinds, and it needed a major update, so DQB2 it was. I have a castle! … well 2 rooms, a bog, no roof, and a spud patch, but it's a start. Looking forward to the end-game as it's getting a little samey, and the cuteness has worn off.
OTTM - dog still has limpy ligaments but is off the PKs now. Project Badger has developed dandruff. 2 lots of recently fledged blackbirds have attracted cats and hawks, and I am on constant carcass patrol to stop the dog hoovering up the remains.

1 for 1, Sibley out for a duck and the players are off again for rain.
And thus normal service resumes for England...

Sounds like Shenguin is doing everything he can to make the kids-that-aren’t-his lives miserable. Stops them playing on the PS, bumps off the dad, gets rid of the dog.
How long before he answers “What’s for breakfast” with the classic response? The monster, he’s probably done it already.

I was promised delivery of some ancient SIMM memory today, yet it has still not arrived. They have disappointed me.
Not that I could have done anything with it if it had turned up today. My partner has been in the study (aka "my" room) all day doing important work bits, so I wouldn't have been able to access the A1200T anyway.

Melvazord there pretending he's not doing Woah woah woah, are you saying I could also be getting STORIES and FUN?! Man I've been mis-sold yoga. When I was partaking of the yoga, it was in a class and there was a certain amount of ommmmming and the occasional hitting of a little gong and other mystical chat that really helped you forget about the challenges of bending and stretching by filling you with an indescribably visceral rage. How do you replicate that conducive atmosphere when you are pulling your moves solo in front of youtube?

How do you replicate that conducive atmosphere when you are pulling your moves solo in front of youtube? I just remind myself that some unwashed hippy is probably being paid as much as I am to bang a gong and chat shit to middle aged yummy mummys. That tends to build the inner rage up to acceptable* levels. *ie where it feels like maybe a vessel is about to burst in your head and you can taste copper. That's good for you, right?

As the weather is basically October, I have a giant pot of chilli on the hob. Been simmering since just after lunch time. A final flourish of fibre packed chick peas and black eyed beans and it's ready.
In other chilli news, my Naga chilli plant has its first 'fruit'. It's tiny and barely noticeable, much like my penis, but it has potential, unlike my face.
