I would have marked you down as a John Lewis Shopper. I guess the Animal Crossing guy got all your custom. John Lewis missing a trick there. If they had moved to a deserted island and put out one random expensive item and two slightly less expensive random items in their store every day with the rule that you can only buy items you have acquired before and had been in cahoots with a shadowy organisation that evaluates the content of your house every week things would be different now. These people have no business sense. Although they still had to compete with Jeff sending random parcels attached to balloons, thus offering a wider range of colours and styles of items you can then order by mail from his vast warehouses. |

How do you buy anything for the first time? Say you move somewhere and need furniture?
Great if you have furniture already and can upgrade it, not so much if you don't have any to start with.
The reason I can't have nice things is because you didn't shop at John Lewis.
I suppose I could go to the Solihull store, but that is not so convenient.

For some reason video conferences at my work are now being recorded. I had assumed that my sneaky glances at my phone and looking at tinternet on the other monitor were very subtle and unlikely to be noticed. Having just watched a meeting back, it is in fact very very obvious.
