Oh, and one of Jeff's minions is going to deliver the Trump niece book tonight. Her brother has been quoted as saying that the Trump family "puts the fun into dysfunctional". I wonder whether Melania has ordered a copy and whether she wishes she'd read all that before she married into that family.
Edit: book has now arrived. Not sure I'll read it tonight, I can do without Trumps for a while.

The Bloomingdale's "corporate account" and black American Express "No limit" card probably help a bit...

No pictures, which I found surprising, but I can see their inclusion probably would have opened a new can of legal worms. The 3rd chapter is called "The Great I-Am". It's prefaced by a quote from Les Miserables:

I watched the cricket highlights on the Beeb, just now. Not a clue, what's it all about? Let me explain it : You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out. When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game. Simple.

Now, I got it. Thanks, it just looked like a bunch of blokes trying to hit each other in 'the shenguins'.

Morning all. And a particularly special morning for Shenguin . Happy birthday, Shenguin ! So far today, I have taken the boy to nursery, dropped off his school admittance documentation at the local primary school, visited the butchers, visited the hardware shop, and dropped into the Co-op as well. All while masked-up good. What have you ever done? TVblog: Sherlock and Community. Gamesblog: Skyrim! Finally visited Markarth, at level 42. Still haven't been to Morthall or Falkreath... Amigablog: more benchmarking, and more games discovered that just don't want to work on The Beast. For shame. Skyrim: Markarth and Falkreath are worth visiting if you can find the hidden loot boxes.

I really, really wish I could play Elite Dangerous. But I'm really happy to be an NPC Cmdr Chumbles somewhere in the black. Here's a longish video about one of the great player made parts of the game:

After an intense night of Fortnite duos my brother and I finally won a match, it was really tough going though. Won a Titanfall 2 match too where I ranked above 3 other players, so basically a pro now.
Watching Avengers Infinity Stones also.

Thanks to tenthenemy who popped over to Happy Isle and gave me a pile of stuff™ And to Pyjakson who sent me a recipe for a library wall. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Fuel Rats are an awesome bunch of RPGers. Several came along on the Distant Worlds 2 expedition last year and although I never needed to call them, it was a comfort to know that if I did fuck up, and a few of the waypoints were far enough out of the main galaxy to make that a very real possibility, someone would bust a gut trying to reach me and would drop off a few tons of fuel.
On DW2 I had adopted the role of 'Mechanic', and so was usually busy building repair limpets, and offering to patch up the hulls of those who turned up at the various waypoints with damage they couldn't fix themselves.
I will keep an eye out for NPC Chumbles!
