I have put air in some tyres, checked some oil, and paid a competent person to change two tyres.

Hello. Mario kart with the child today. Finally took the training wheels off. A few tears n snorters but she's happier she playing "properly" now. She then whooped my ass at some snowboarding game by literally mashing buttons.
Waiting on Italian food being delivered.

Waiting on Italian food being delivered. You can just call it pizza. We'll know what it means.

My afternoon has been spent trying out the games I played yesterday, but with a new processor installed in the Amiga. It's been great! A really good use of my limited free time.

"Haggis, Glasgow, a Domenico Crolla Restaurant, now called ORO, I think — £3,340(ish) Remember folks, we are only on number three. This luxurious pie is named after the British super agent, James Bond. Known by all as the “Pizza Royale 007,” this pizza is sprinkled with 24-carat gold dust, topped with champagne-soaked caviar and lobster that is marinated in 100-year-old cognac. Yum!" The top two include one that has an actual diamond in it and the 1st place, $12,000, 3 chefs come around to your house to cook it.

I used to stay along the road from Oro in the people's Republic of Shawlands. I miss the area - we're a bit further east now. Schools were shite unless you went private hence the move. Plus we couldn't afford a house with Garden there. *sob*

Also one memorable evening in The Shed after we had thrashed Iceland 1 1.

I have just had a delicious Chicken Tikka Jaipuri from Sheffield's poshest curry house. And a Thornbridge Jaipur to go with it.

Mrs C and I used to drink in the Granary regularly. Was a decent boozer with fairly decent food. The food gets mixed reviews now.
Despite (because?) living two minutes walk from the shed I was never in it.

So Destry is still the only one that's been to a boozer?

We had a Mexican food delivery.
Mine was fucking awful. Way too salty. No stars.
Then had to singlehandedly put the bedding back on the bed on one of the hottest evenings of the year. (Mrs D has hurt her shoulder).
Finally went outside in the garden to relax with a glass of wine.
Cue the neighbour's kids screaming "The bouncy castle's coming!" and a clearing of the lawn.
I have retreated indoors.

So Destry is still the only one that's been to a boozer? Been twice now. Once to our local 'spoons and yesterday we drove out to Oxted for a walk and a pint (outside) at one of our favourite pubs en route. The 'spoons was much the same as before with a few added safeguards. The latter took our details, escorted us to a table, the waiting staff wore face guards, delivered our drinks to a nearby (empty) table and we paid contactless. A bit of a rigmarole but felt safe throughout. 'Spoons took no contact details at all.

Yes!!! Our bouncy castle has finally arrived! Better yet the miserable sod next door has fucked off inside for his Horlicks. It's actually two doors away. And they had hired the fucking thing last weekend for little Freddy's 1st birthday party. I'm praying for rain. Or preferably a lightning strike.
