Plus is anyone surprised that there was nothing in the Russia report? Literally nothing as we didn't look to see if there was anything which ought to go in it.
It's a bit naïve to imagine there would be much. I mean Hutton blamed the BBC for being mean to Alastair Campbell. Said it was disgraceful. Not a word about Campbell helping to arrange the invasion of Iraq under false pretences.

I thought you knew I was some sort of ridiculous left wing dissident. It's been a tough few decades.
I only use the fish puns and the football as cover.

I have occasionally wondered if falling out with Russia, China and the EU at the same time and cuddling up to Trump is in our long term strategic interest.

Tabasco sauce is great stuff, good on mini cheddars, good on most things. Great on fresh washing that's hanging on clothes horses... Paging MrTiddles, white courtesy phone.

Killed it.
So welcome to Sheep Propaganda.
Coventry Claming to be building a new ground by Warwick Uni. Haven't identified a site or a cost yet. Definitely going to happen. They aren't planning to squat at our ground indefinitely. Definitely not.
EFL WTF? They make the Tories look fit to rule. So the latest idea is that Derby and Sheff Weds punishments might have to be held over as they aren't sure the appeals can be heard in time.
Absolute shambles. Bloodier than a Dom Cummings wanking session.
Blues Absolute shambles. Almost definitely won't go down due to everyone else being terrible as well. Plus Wigan are due to lose 12 points tomorrow. We might appoint Karanka the wanker . Not sure I am in favour of this. He always seems a bit dour. Plus failed at Boro = failed everywhere. On the other hand if he is mostly competent he will do for me.

My main issue is that the British public are all too willing to believe anything that they see on Facebook or Twitter and assume that it is 100% factually sound.
And I think the Russian state know that too, as they've seen how Murdoch and co. have managed to achieve the same via traditional media for decades.
All of a sudden, you can pay a few thousand people to create social media accounts and specifically target certain people or hashtags. And spin the message in your favour.
The naive in this country will follow/jump-on comments or accounts which tick the right boxes for their suspicions and ideas like that [clicks fingers].

I agree that the Russians didn't hack the vote directly. The St Petersburg troll farm is documented though, and even the G reported spikes in Russian posting at key moments in the campaign. Btl posting does influence the debate. E.g. I have no idea what Super Tennis is, but I believe that it is a game.
The big one is the 8 million quid from Arron Banks to Vote Leave, which is the biggest political donation ever. The money trail peters out in some tax haven so the source is unknown, but Banks has documented close links with the Russian embassy. They offered him gold mining deals in Siberia. When the ambassador returned to Moscow he boasted that he had crushed Britain and that 'Britain will not rise again'.
8 million quid is a lot of money - equivalent to almost a third of a Birmingham city youth team player.

That's a standard for how politics is done and campaigns are won, especially in the US. these types are always jumping on each others backs at the slightest hint of dirt, so it's in their favour to behave that way.
Security Politics Marketing Media Control
all of the above in no particular order, depending on the type of positive or negative spin.

Coventry
Claming to be building a new ground by Warwick Uni. It always amuses me that Warwick University is actually in Coventry. Top, top trolling by the boffins. Many years ago the Pref. Mam.'s nephew studied at Warwick University. His parents lived near Edinburgh, so not exactly nearby. When the uni broke up for the summer they asked us whether we could pick him up, put him on a train home and look after his stuff, which included a very large and bulky television set (this really dates the story, although not many students had such a luxury item back then). No problem, we said, got into the car and drove to Warwick. It was only when we saw plenty of signage for the castle and none for the university that we stopped and asked for directions. I can't remember whether the person we asked gave the instructions to drive to Coventry with a weary sigh that indicated that this kind of thing happened far to often for their liking, but I remember that we didn't feel as stupid as we should have. Naturally, this was before there were smartphones. I doubt it could happen today. It was my first visit to Coventry and I will always feel awful about being taken aback by the way it looks when I knew that it was the Luftwaffe that left it in that state. I've been to many German cities that have suffered similar disastrous damage but usually city planners have been a bit more successful in covering up those bits. In Coventry they didn't even bother with putting band aid on that wound.

You guys are going to lose your shit when you find out where Grimsby Town's football stadium is. My local non league team played Grimsby in the FA trophy a couple of seasons ago. A few people I know went to the away leg. They said it was like a post apocalyptic fish scented wasteland. They did meet a couple of the cast of This is England though.

There is a special place in hell reserved for whoever designed the southern part of the ring road in particular. There used to be a roundabout where the signing was malicious.

The ring road in Coventry is a delight for the connoisseur of post war planning. Exits on both sides of the carriageway, cars merging from all directions simultaneously. It's like something from the Fifth Element.

He always looks like a sour faced bastard. I'm not that keen.
He only has to last a season anyway. Either he does too well and gets sacked -Rowett, Monk Or does shit and gets sacked - everyone else.
