If I were Amipal I would find testing for Covid at a place with Am(ipal)ex(pired) in the name highly ominous. Then again, it might be because I'm wearing one of my bespoke hat creations.

Three and half hours spent on the Coq au Vin, still need to put the damn thing in the oven and then finish the sauce once it's taken out, it's never ending.

Yeah, auto erect is the worst.

Dinner will be Mexican-inspired steak fajita stir fry, refried beans, sour cream and rice. Ready in minutes and none of this faffabout with cocks and vin.

Video James: I really didn't mean for this to happen, but Animal Crossing is again ruining my sleeping pattern. It all started when, after my success in finding a cicada shell, I did some research on the last missing critter for now, the Giant Stag. This is how I found out that I had laboured under the misapprehension that this particular bête noire behaves like other stag beetles that can be found on palm tree trunks after 5 p.m. In reality it follows the same pattern as the scarab beetle and can only be found between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. It was already late and I wanted to close the game down, but I thought that this isn't going to get any easier and hopefully it would only take me an hour at the most to find this thing.

I didn't find it.

I stayed up until the small hours of the night, caught two more scarab beetles and many, many other rare bugs, but not a single Giant Stag. At one point I felt I needed to do something different than prowling along the same paths over and over again, and I started my first major terraforming project in the hope that the elusive prey might show up unexpectedly. But once I started terraforming I was far too busy with it to pay any attention to the insects in the surrounding trees. I turned the pool of one of the waterfalls into a tributary to my main river and built a Zen bridge over it. Water construction turned out to be quite fiddly, and it also took some time to get the conditions for the bridge construction right.

I don't want to say when I actually went to bed, suffice to say that my much needed beauty sleep has been impacted. I will try again tonight because this isn't going to go away, the emphasis being on "try". Who thought that these were good spawn times for a rare item in a game for children, Nintendo? The little tykes won't be able to keep their eyes open in kindergarten!

Speaking of games getting blamed for society's ills, I see FRANK had to work overtime in Keef's shooter article comment section. That's to be expected when "the Guardian is promoting practicing(sic)for massacres". At least Sheep2 didn't get a Guardian Pick for boasting about his KDR.
