I am in a pub for the first time since the before-times.
Unfortunately it is a Spoons, though the app worked well and I got served much quicker than normal.

I am at work. First day in a new job. I probably have Coronavirus now. My office has views out over the harbour. I have read a Data Protection Policy, without really concentrating on it. New job with a sea view and a high chance of catching a virus off someone? Prostitute working the docks? Called it: 'Covid-19 "Spreads faster than a hooker's legs"'

I didn't expect Dr Shenguin to be moved on to a new work environment so quickly after he, ahem, took on Crank as a new, ahem, patient last night but maybe it isn't surprising.

Hi,
AC:Odyssey chat, I've got stuck back in over the weekend. Met my Dad and now gone to Phokis. Am mainly just wandering around. Killing the national leaders seems a bit too easy, I might be doing it wrong? When I got to Phokis I saw the main quest snake in the grass guy. Then stumbled across the leaders house almost straight away, burned his stuff then walked up a hill and the leader was just standing there, so I stabbed him to death pretty easily. Same thing in Margaris, the leader was just sitting on some grass having a picnic all by himself, so I punched him in the face and then recruited him to my Crew.
I think I have the difficulty set to medium, the mercenaries on my own level and above are providing a challenging enough fight.
Think I'll stick with it, enjoying a lot more than Origins so far.
I am playing it on hard, the main difference (as I understand it) is people generally level with you. If you can get the DLC then Atlantis is a whole new game, lots of fun. Leaders tend to be easy, though getting to them less so. I only took out a few but usually involved reducing their influence or power by burning stuff or doing an assasdin run on their house. It's a great game.

Hello all.
Boy's birthday today, so went to Sheffield Park earlier (pre-booked). Aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparent all in attendance, so he's had a great morning. So far, his favourite present has been a spacesuit costume.
TVblog: Adventure Time and Community.
Gamesblog/ no.
Amigablog: more games testing. Still on B.

Hello. Today is our 29th wedding anniversary. To celebrate we will be going out to eat later, taking advantage of Rishi Sunak's £20 off deal. Congrats what you eating? Not sure. We've booked a table at a restaurant that serves Mediterranean / Greek cuisine. According to their menu, steaks are half price on Mondays. If I can combine that with Rishi's discount it sounds very tempting...

I might just recruit a crew entirely made up of kidnapped Athenian senior officials.
It seems a very large game.

Killing them is needed in some missions, or if you want to have a large Athens v Sparta battle, but not required. If you follow the missions you get some pretty good shipmates. Btw how are you getting on with tombs?

The mix of AC: Odd murder chat with weeding anniversary chat is very confusing.

I just ordered 2 Buds for a fiver and they literally turned up 2 minutes later, even before the email acknowledging the order.
Tim Martin is still a cunt and I am still a hypocrite.

Hello.
Happy anniversary Destry!
No games, but I am definitely firing up AC Odd tomorrow. I liked what I played, but have been ignoring it for weeks due to commitment issues.
Telly: Last Chance U. I love it.
Ottm? Not really.

What type of spacesuit? Apollo, Battlestar, Blakes 7 or what? More 90s NASA than anything sci-fi.

Okay all. Anniversary meal update.
The restaurant was really nice. Friendly staff, fewer tables than pre-Covid but otherwise much as before.
The meal, you ask?
1 bottle of San Miguel 1 bottle of house red (French 2017 Merlot) 2 Sirloin Steaks (6 oz with chunky chips, Portobello mushrooms, red onion marmalade and sun dried tomatoes) 1 dessert (Chocolate brownie with ice cream) 1 double espresso and one decaff filter coffee
The bill?
£41.50 plus tip (half-price steaks for Monday, plus Rishi Sunak bonus)
Verdict? 4 stars.

Morning all, Downloaded Fallout 4 with the DLC at the end of the week. Any tips welcome! 1) Set up a settlement with no settlers and a good supply of purified water. This gives a a lot to sell for caps. 2) Set game play to hard or very hard, it makes the game a challenge and you also get more legendry equipment. 3) Check the Creation Club for any freebies of weapons or armour. If the horse armour or Morgan's space suit are free get them. 4) Build a decontamination arch (if you have that dlc) it saves 40 caps a time 5) If you are perking rifles or automatics, go to a vault and, get the Overseer's Guardian 6) If you are perking pistols get the Deliverer 7) Drumlin Diner is a good early game shop, also once you see off Wolfgang & Simone their gear regenerates along with a nearby first aid kit 8) get the find extra ammo perk 9) Get the fast travel while overloaded perk 10) The MacCready Killshot perk is well worth getting

All this talk about restaurants and pubs... and my local has been sending me emails about their "Eat Out to Help Out" offers... I must resist.
Tonight I've been resisting by having a steak dinner at home. Take that, Rishi!
On Wednesday I will be venturing outside for the first time after five months of "shielding" to attend a medical appointment. I'll be running an errand at the post office and then go back to shielding, no idea for how long. I think I'm beginning to understand how some prisoners would prefer staying inside after they completed their sentence.
I forgot to mention that yesterday's social distancing game was Killer Is Dead. It's a Suda51 game, alright.
OTTM: had to replace the batteries in my electric toothbrush and struggled for 20 minutes with closing the battery compartment. Couldn't even close it without the batteries inside, let alone with. Was about to give up when I watched a YouTube video of someone replacing the batteries, with a comment section full of people with exactly the same problem. One of them recommended using a bit of water as a lubricant and it worked! Needless to say that's a pretty shitty design you got there, Oral-B.
