Tonight I paid for entertainment that involved me seeing a real life actual todger. Swinging. Not my own. I also had the most appalling and over-priced pint of Wadsworth's 6X.
4 stars.
Like and subscribe for more details (tomorrow after my late breakfast, which may involve beer).
Edit: I'm willing to bet that whatever text went with that Chatterbox Tuesday picture had what might charitably be described as an attitude "of its time" to ethnic diversity and inclusiveness.

Morning all! And a windy one at that.
That there last episode of Disco. Wowza. I think we're well and truly out of the sit-down-and-watch-it-with-the-kids now.
Afterwards, I watched a load of YouTube bits and pieces, including a rather infuriating fstoppers vid asking why lenses for Micro Four Thirds are so pricey. I bet you've all seen it.

Morning all,
No gaming over the weekend as I was dog-sitting for my unwell sister. Just several seasons of Nashville and Friday Night Lights and some lukewarm bud light.
@bloggiesmalla - I tend to have a megadrive weekend every now and again and complete the same group of games so I can pretend that completing 7/8 games over a few days means I'm not completely useless at gaming (which I am).

It was All's Well That Ends Well. I'm not an expert, but I have read the play years ago, and I really don't remember the stage direction [the king gets totally naked, making sure Shenguin has a really clear close view and gets into the bath. Then gets out of the bath, again making sure Shenguin gets a good look at wet todger]. It was just a willy, but the surprise and the public nature made it a lot more provocative than, for example, all the todgers I've seen in changing rooms over the years.
It didn't help that it looked larger than average. To me, at any rate.
I've just had breakfast in a pub. I had coffee. I've decided not to have a beer. At lunchtime I may celebrate not being an alcoholic.

At least it wasn't a performance of "Hair", where I believe it's traditional to shove the todgers into the front seats audience's faces. I saw a documentary once about a production of that musical where the actors were very concerned that the todgers were all nice and clean and dry (the secret is apparently plenty of talcum powder). So nothing to worry about, but they still make you sit through Age of Aquarius.

I’m talking in general terms.

Apparently, 'select Tesco stores' (which likely means 3 stores, in London) are selling 12 month PS plus subscriptions in store for £20. Might be worth a look if you have one local.

Boaby chat. Again. When will the objectification of men end?
Last night was phallus free (excluding my own). Played fives and won then watched the final episode of Disco. I could post my thoughts in the dedicated thread, but I probably won't.
Also, Nier arrived by I had to do uni work and instead make do with completing the initial install. Woo!

Maybe there's something in that, with theme hospital I do the same thing every time, hire all the good staff, open immediately, build all the rooms change speed to super fast and sit back and wait. Dungeon keeper though, I have just discovered "deeper dungeons" levels I've never played before! Horny is an absolute monster. For me there's definitely a big dose of nostalgia in there, they're the first real games I remember other than a point and click Arthur story book and mother goose adventure..

Nier is a cracking game. I think it was conchord who recommended it to me? I got obsessed for a while but ended up giving up after it froze and I lost an hour's play time. Really need to get back into it, only on my first playthrough.

Really need to get back into it, only on my first playthrough. That's a gutter. I've found that the best thing to do, if possible, is to grit your teeth and go straight back in to recover your progress. It usually takes about half the time and stops games getting discarded. Retro games chat: I'd love to go back and play Championship Manager 96/97, which was the first in the series. Double nostalgia as my team had a cracking squad back then.

When you say “first playthrough” that doesn’t really clarify much with Nier.
My favourite bit in that game was probably Romeo & Juliet.

I spent a good couple of months playing the original The Settlers last year, courtesy of fs-uae.
Had to work out a fix for pressing both mouse buttons at the same time though, as not possible with the Apple Mighty Mouse.

Classic games - golden axe is on one my favourites. Got sufficiently good at it back in the day that I was able to one credit complete it in an arcade in Filey in the early 90s. Unfortunately that was the peak of my gaming achievements and it's been a slow decline ever since.
