Any lockdown 2.0 game recommendations or is it time to work through the epic and psplus freebie pile that has never been touched? I don't think any of the new rules yesterday make a single difference here, both of us have to go on to work mostly, group meetings were banned last week and it's early nights all round. Oh well at least this time gardening and DIY is no on the cards, shame the weather has gone.

Hair today, gone tomorrow? Do what I did and get a good visiting hairdresser* - by 'good' I mean one who will pretend that they're cutting vast prairies of luxurious mane while hunting out hairs to snip. And get rid of mirrors. *Not a masseuse, you're going to find that too overstimulating now. stxdpr : Age of Wonders 3, full set with my mods - ridiculous timesink; I limit myself to maximum 2h otherwise my house would be even more of a pit.** MrTiddles : hello. **I have goooot to get on with those fucking chores ... but just one turn wouldn't hurt...

Hello, Ganes: started Undertale. It seems ok. Not too sure about the 'battle' system though. Tv: S2 ep1 of The Boys. I have already decided it's not going to be as good as S1. Book: about halfway through the State of the Art by Iain M Banks. Decent.
That's it.

I did not watch bake off. I haven’t seen it for years tbh. Might give this series a go though. It could be the shining light we need in these dark times.

Games - Spoder-Man and My Time At Portia. Had my first encounter with Negative Man. Also spent some time taking photos of New York landmarks and chasing a pigeon. Just need a Dick Dastardly hat.
Then fixed a hole in a sewer works, built a well, then spent far too long mining trying to find some parts for an upgrade so I can build other stuff to make a crane. It’s quite enthralling and has a “just one more day” feel to it, which can often lead to Gaming Hour(TM) stretching to past 1am.
I need coffee.

Morning
Autumn is here.
Day 3 of a cold type thing. Keep taking my temperature and it's low so hopefully not clever covid. Two cases in the childrens schools though.
More Days Gone. Another bandit camp cleared. Then had to decide which camp to give my stolen drug stash to. I chose the one with lots of guns for sale. I'm thinking this game might be too big. A bit like....
Thinking of picking DS3 back up.
OTTM, raining and cold

Chumbles, I think you may have mistaken me for someone else.
Unless this is some backdoor advice about limiting the time I spend with my 3 year old son to 2 hour intervals? If this is correct then I'll happily start today! He really is a timesink

Hello again I played Football Manager 2020 last night. And this morning. I ate a wheel of camembert. I went through pre-season. Team bonding, exercise, active in the transfer market. I sloughed off 'Jack Edwards' - a dressing room dominating sourpuss. It was all for nought. My team were ransacked in the frst two games.
The camembert was noisome.

Hello.
Games. No TV. Us.
Currently going through all our pages on the council website as they installed a fancy new theme/css and it's borked or centred loads of our pages. Maybe give us a heads up next time Mr so called Webmaster.
Ottm. Waiting patiently on Rocket League to go free today. I own it on the ps4 anyway but thought it might be nice on the switch.

I got the BFG in Doom, getting close to the big demon fight which proved too much for me on Xbox.
I'm not watching Bake Off this year, Mrs Fark can watch it while I shoot demons in the face.

Hello again I played Football Manager 2020 last night. And this morning. I ate a wheel of camembert. The camembert was noisome. Missed smelly cheese chat but yes, Le Rustique Camembert is pretty darn good. It used to have a litlle label advising of ripeness from chalky to runny. I prefer it a bit 'on the nose'. A state of ripeness most would probably liken to necrotic slime. Needs to be encased in plastic in the fridge.

Morning, Feeling pretty shitty today, I celebrated the inbound 10pm curfew by staying out very late and getting totally sloshed last night. I think I'm in danger of losing my patience with all this crap. Im usually pretty supportive of our Government up here, Sturgeon etc. But I cant figure out the sense of being able to take my Gran for a bevvy at the pub till 10pm but not visit her for a cup of tea. The 2 household thing up here is also a total ball ache.
I can see all this going on for a couple of years at least. I think Im get closer to thinking we just go back to normal, shield the over 65s and vulnerable and see what happens. Not a popular opinion I know but I think there is a lot of harm being done by these restrictions.
I'll probably change my mind when my hangover goes away.
No games
TV: watched the latest The Boys and Raised by Wolves, both good.

Morning. Grey skies and rain. Email from a friend who's moved to France (sorry, amipal) and who's temporarily back in the country to sort out his driving licence. He's currently in quarantine but asking whether we could meet once he's allowed out. Need to think about the logistics, but it probably won't be possible. Birmingham is going against government advice on testing, a wise move as long as they can get enough tests: amp.theguardian.com/world/2020/sep/22/birmingham-people-told-to-get-coronavirus-test-even-if-asymptomatic(Because the most face palm inducing thing I've heard recently is Matt Hancock talking about asymptomatic spreading, something he was warned about back in FEBRUARY.) Sigh. My family in Germany, where things have gone largely back to normal, are watching this with a mix of pity and incomprehension. I only learnt yesterday that in Scotland children under 12 don't count towards the six while in England they do, so that a family of four can't meet with another family if the same size, while a single person can socialise with 5 other singles. More like the Rule of Sick, ammirite? Meh.
