I'm playing a Work RPG. I've put tens of thousands of hours into it. It just gets more and more grindy with less and less reward, appalling learning curve, virtually non-existent levelling up, no buffing, and boss fights seem to be disabled, but I'm so obsessed I can't stop. I'm playing it again at the moment.

I was standing on an atmospheric street in Maastricht last night. I looked up at the moon and could see two of them. I closed my left eye and there were still two. I opened my left eye and closed my right eye and there were three or four. I wasn’t wearing glasses. What was this all about? … I have been told I have astigmatism but this seems to be a bit much. I suppose the moon is a long way away. There is a lot to go wrong between there and here. If this isn't the opening to a convoluted joke that culminates in a highly contrived pun, that sounds sort of OK at the time but then five minutes later makes you wonder if it was actually quite xenophobic, then I'm going to be very disappointed. |
