Are they waving hello? Dunno. I could give them some of my tablets... I'll sleep on it.

They look like the tropical fish that mistakenly swims up where it isn't meant to. Lovely thought for a Saturday morning.

Morning
I just went on a lovely morning walk, without the dogs, retracing my steps from the dog walk yesterday to find one of their name tags. I finally found it less than 10m from my door.
If only I’d done the walk in reverse.
Setting the tone for my weekend.

Hello
I have a question.
What do you think of The Guardian these days?
I'm not sure I like it as much. I worried that perhaps I was lurching to the right so I filled in the questions on 'The Political Compass' and I'm still broadly where I was ...
I don't know ... Maybe it's the clickbait headlines. Plus it always seems to be trying to foment this idea that the world's falling apart and it's someone else's fault. Like The Daily Mail does. The headlines have a tone of always being scandalised. It never seems level-headed or objective... Not that you can really be that objective I guess. Why am I ranting like this?
Also - I always thought it was left wing. But it seems to take its lead from American style social liberalism rather than socialism. It feels sort of American in outlook.
I don't know. I feel hungover.

Maybe I have a level of cantankerousness mapped directly to my age. With every year I get one percent more cantankerous.
I don't know...

Sounds like you're suffering from 'The Shenguin Syndrome'.

I need to get out. I need to get working on my plan to move to Ostend. I need to get into the Belgo-sphere.

Sounds like you're suffering from 'The Shenguin Syndrome'. What is The Shenguin Syndrome? How does it manifest?

A diagnosis of Shenguin Syndrome is contra-indicated by the repeated employment of the phrase "I don't know", which would be highly atypical.

Any unwanted blue fur? A craving for cookies? Are you becoming worse at games?
If so, see your GP immediately.

Lazy, have you considered that maybe the world is fucked in various ways, and this is mostly the fault of various groups of humans, as well as the G becoming more shrill and click-baity?

Morning
I don't know what Shenguin Syndrome is but I would imagine weeping sores are involved.
Played some DS3 last night. Undead settlement. I think I'm destined to stay there forever. Two massive pot carrying gits, with another waiting behind them, blocking a bridge I would really like to cross, well they killed me. Several times. I did manage to collect my souls back until the last attempt where I fell off the bridge en route to said dropped souls. Then I sulked and turned it off.
OTTM, making chicken curry later. To be served with shop bought rotis and rice. And beer.

lazybones I agree. Even 5 years ago I felt that bias wasn't that prevalent, but a lot of the political stuff nowadays feels as though it's being written to convince and not to inform. It's as though the writers have just interrupted grinding their respective axes in order to hand down to us mere neanderthal supplicants what we should be thinking ... It is a dangerous stance

Shenguin syndrome manifests itself by settling down with a preferred mammal, and two kids that are Not Yours, and a dog, which you spend every waking moment scheming to get rid of.

The Guardian is basically terrible these days. Every bit as sensationalist as all the other shitty newspapers.

Just back from Silverburn shopping centre as the child needed shoes. A wee rummage in m&s foodhall as Game has closed and fuck playing with phones in phone shops. What's with the cunts that can't wear masks over their noses? I'll wear a mask so you can't complain, but I'll not wear it properly. Arseholes to a man.
Think I've contracted Lazy's condition.
TV. Some documentary about PE. The band, not the torture inflicted in secondary school.
Games. Started Ghost Recon Wildlands. Enjoying it so far. Going to attempt to get the steam controller working on it and see how that goes. Probably an exercise in frustration but worth a shot.

Good morning, I watched another episode of The Expanse last night. The one where emo hat cop repeatedly says "Julie Mao" while looking at various pictures of Julie Mao. It also had Cutty from the Wire in it. Nice to see he's finally made it out of West Baltimore.

I played Star Wars: Squadrons the other day. It's ok. Not so keen on flying in a Tie Fighter. It's not for me. Very small. Bit cramped.
Also ... not so keen on playing as the Empire. Having said that .... They seem a bit more reasonable these days. I used to think they were corrupt old space Nazis. Not so much now.
