I am playing Fallout New Vegas on PSNow. Even better than I remember. A GOAT contender and no mistake. Are you streaming to a pc or the PS4?

The dog has been gone for a while. I've since been able to focus on other schemes. Shipping the kids off to boarding school? Oh, yes, I hadn't thought of that. I suppose that idea would have less legal and moral risk.

Games: none. Breakfast: two soft boiled eggs. OTTM: Lazy now thinks the Guardian are monstrous liberal doom-mongerers, and sympathises with the Empire in Star Wars . . . ?

I am listening to the complete Sherlock Holmes, read by Stephen Fry, he's occasionally precious but is really good. 4*

Hello all. Thankfully, I did manage to get all of the bits done as agreed while my partner and son were out this morning. I then got in front of the camera to film a not-so-subtle homage to Indiana Jones. Possibly for Patreon subs only. Like and subscribe for more sweet content. Speaking of content, where the hell has Melvazord got to? Gamesblog: no! TVblog: yes! Ghosts, on iPlayer. A fun series. Would recommend. Then The Boys. Is that the last in the series?

Good morning, I watched another episode of The Expanse last night. The one where emo hat cop repeatedly says "Julie Mao" while looking at various pictures of Julie Mao. It also had Cutty from the Wire in it. Nice to see he's finally made it out of West Baltimore. From a run down boxing gym to a space station. Good for him. Fred Johnson? He’s also one of Frank and Charlie’s urban/under-the-bridge friends.

I’ve just finished the main storyline for Spider-Man, only 2 years after it came out. Almost as bad as Amipal.

Speaking of content, where the hell has Melvazord got to? A dazzling tour de force from the CyberHaggis; made me want to play D&D with me friends again. Then I remembered *sob*

The Guardian
It's a shadow of the newspaper it used to he. Like all newspapers.
It has a lot fewer resources. You can see that easily in its coverage of games, music and books. Not a parch on a few years ago.
The foreign news reporting is massively down as well. It used to he ace for it, now much less so.
Also it has lost it's way. Needs a cull of out of touch columnists -Jonathan Freedland, Polly Toynbee and Simon Jenkins in particular. I'd also get rid of Timothy Garton Ash . I can't help but feel it must be very expensive to get his hot air inscribed on tablets of stone.
The G's problem is it is essentially Blairitr in a non-Blairite world.
There are some very good bits. John Crace and Marina Hyde are very good value. I like John Harris as well, thought provoking, as is George Monbiot, even if I often don't agree with him. Much of the rest though is clickbait, barely disguised PR releases or sententious waffle.
I'd reserve a special place in hell for Nick Cohen and Luke Harding. Both of them appear to he fed information from the security services and to base their world view on that. To me that sort of journalism has no place in the Guardian. Maybe at the Times or Telegraph.

Really I'd just like them to fuck off elsewhere.
I used to regularly post Nick Davies' (a top journalist) judgement on Nick Cohen over the Iraq war, word for word. It was pretty damning. The G took against that.
You can't generally comment on Luke Harding articles. I don't know what the FSB said to him, but he seems convinced Putin is the dark lord behind absolutely everything.

I read Luke Harding's most recent book and thought it was pretty good. Not as good as Peter Geoghegan's Democracy for Sale, which I am reading now. Better than Fallout 4 though.

Also, I noticed today that amipal and Melvazord look quite similar. Are they by any chance related?
