I’d rather watch a new series of Star Trek: Discovery than another series of Star Trek: Picard. Picard was better than Discovery. There were some really painfully bad moments in Discovery, the whole love triangle with the Klingon, that dude and the main chick was terrible. |

But I can forgive it more for being terrible than I can Sir Patrick’s series. Alex Kurtzman is the worst. |

I have not forsaken you. Yet.
But only because (contrary to rumours) I have not become a full time e-sports Animal Crossing player. Yet.
I'm sorry I've been on a chat vacation for so long, it wasn't my intention.
Personally I blame the Yanks and their stupid time zones. I've had very little sleep recently. It all started Sunday evening before last when the social distancing game stream of Trails in the Sky lasted a full 6 hours, until 2 am. However, we finished Chapter 2! Also played Trails last Sunday, but only for 3 hours because nobody had the stamina for another marathon session.
After that I needed a break. Also more sleep.
More stuff happened, including me watching live at stupid o'clock as the fly got stuck in Mike Pence's hairspray, having my house surrounded by scaffolding and placing a bucket in the middle of the bathroom to catch the water from an enormous roof leak because the roofers who are putting in a new roof didn't watch the overnight weather forecast.
Once again I left the competition in the dust when I defended my "Granny of the Year" title by sourcing the best birthday presents for all my grandkids, but it's been tiring. Not to mention two days of decidedly dodgy internet at a time when I had to order groceries online.
Any fish puns of note while I've been away?
Edit: I've just read Shenguin's contribution to the Scorsese discussion. Forget the last question, okay?

Only the 80s Sci fi TV series that Star Trek could've been.
