If it's to help keep you regular then one that actually has weed in it would help.
Meant to say. Installed Civ 6 last night ahead of the pirates update this week. Never played a game like that but looking forward to giving it a go.

I'm still concerned about Railway cuttings. There are many pubs called 'The Railway Cuttings' and 'The Red Lion'. So it is a FACT that railway cuttings exist. No contest.

I raked the leaves up from the back garden at lunch. Three large trees from neighbouring gardens, all seeming to deposit their dead foliage over my lawn.
Even now, I can see more coming down. It’s a war without end. Or at least until the branches are empty.

It's strange, I'm playing a Gacha "Clash of Clans" derivative and it's a lot of fun and we have a chat system where everyone is nice, pleasant and helpful.
When I leave that space and come here, I literally have to mentally shake myself and move into a different frame of mind.
No judgement, obvs, but I found it interesting.
I'll leave the tl;dr to others.

To be fair, I've been lashing out for years, since well before not-kids. In any event, I think the blame would be more properly laid on my own inadequacies and emotional immaturity, rather than on other people. Edit: also, Felice said it, I was just summarising. It's getting dark and the builders are still working. I wish they would go home, but they are hellbent on getting everything ready for painting the outside wall tomorrow. I had some peace from them over the weekend but somehow that didn't result in me feeling less stressed out or getting more sleep. I put on my face mask on Fiday evening and picked up my own and the Pref.Mam's meds from two different pharmacies. Unfortunately I was in a hurry because again the builders had been staying late and so I didn't properly adjust the tissue under the mask that prevents my glasses from fogging up. While the glasses stayed clear, part of the tissue started getting into my mouth. As soon as I got home I ripped the mask off my face and gasped for air like the pumpkin in chief on his return to the White House himself. It turned out that Pref.Mam. was missing a crucial type of tablets from his medicine supply that is currently no longer available. Probably Brexit related. The duty doctor at his surgery has now prescribed an alternative that I will have to pick up tomorrow. Just hoping that the builders actually have a home to go back to. So I'm again probably not going to read and/or post much here. Many thanks to Destry for alerting me to The Shining on BBC! Pref.Mam. has not seen it and I'd been looking for it for some time. |
