Morning, warriors and worriers all.
Up early, and hard at work as you can see.
Flightsimblog - decided to liven up my Patagonia bushtrip by stalking some random through the lower Andes. After about an hour i finally caught up with them, and found their plane embedded nose-first in a woodland airstrip. Feeling slightly bad now that I might have put a bit of pressure on their approach. There's no comms between players in this game so i apologised as best i could by taxi-ing round them a couple of times and flashing my lights, before taking off in persuit of a new target.
In other flighty news, Steam are selling IL2 Sturmovic / Stalingrad for 6 quid instead of 40, up til 3rd Nov if that's your fancy. Might have a dabble at that price.
OTTM - Took my one good eye to the opticians, and apparently I have cateracts. boo

Good morning.
I’m suddenly looking forward to Borat 2.
Games - yes. My Time At Portia. I think I’m near the end, but they just keep on throwing stuff to do at me. Tv - Finished s1 of Cobra Kai, great TV. On to s2.

Morning campers
So the Torys are a bunch of nasty vindictive rats eh? Who'dve thunk it.
System problems mean I'm currently staring at that spinning circle of white dots. And have been for about an hour. Pretty therapeutic tbh.
What's the 'box moral view on saving at a bonfire, harvesting a few nearby souls and then resting at the bonfire and then repeating this for a few hours? Asking for a friend. Oooh friend.... Ooooh souls friend.
OTTM, my bangers were delicious last night.

Morning all.
So very tired today. So very, very tired. Tempted to go back to bed.
Gamesblog: Skyrim. Off in search of parts of Mehrun Dagon’s blade. Bandits and draugr al over the place. I need to stop picking up items. I have more money than I can spend, and wodging the inventory just means needless trips back to Whiterun to sell them.
TVblog: The Right Stuff. It’s... good. But I can’t help but feel that the script is a bit simple at times. Example: “Gordo says he’s done the pre-flight checks. Then we crash after take off. And the engineers say Gordo hasn’t done the pre-flight checks.” I mean... come on...
Amigablog: trying to get my AmigaOne to connect to the ‘net through my iMac has been troublesome to say the least.

Ahoy, Last night I watched one episode of Bly Manor, and one episode of The Expanse. I have absolutely no recollection of what happened in either of them.
No games.

Good morning. I’m suddenly looking forward to Borat 2. Funny, with me it's the opposite: after reading about the scene where Rudy is fiddling with his giuliani I'm suddenly no longer looking forward to Borat 2.

You didn’t even get Endurance to 30, so you’re already doing it your way.

Off in search of parts of Mehrun Dagon’s blade. I've had that name stuck in my head for a while now, but couldn't think where I'd heard it. I assumed Mehrunes Dagon was probably some sort of disgraced financier I'd read about in the papers, or possibly the kicker for the San Diego Chargers.

Can't see any problem with that myself, but my opinion may not be regarded as valid since I killed Flamelurker by getting him stuck on a ribcage and shooting sould arrahs at his physiognomy from 3 feet.

I sometimes wonder why Sacha Baron Cohen gets a pass from the woke-folk.
According to the Internet, it's not cultural appropriation because he's only pretending to be someone from a different culture. Which is ok.

I am more than a little curious about the type of bangers wot Tuffers scoffed last night. Nothing fancy. Just plain old Tesco pork bangers. It was the whole event though that made it lip smackingly good. I went maverick and ditched the mash and had roasties instead, together with steamed white cabbage and carrots and aunt Bessies Yorkshires, which are 'now 25% bigger!' according to the packet. And the packet was right. Although you only get 10 now instead of 12. I also had a spoonful of English mustard on the side to dip my bangers and roasties into. Oh and gravy, but that was just bisto granules out of a tub, with half an oxo crumbled in. Like I say, maverick.

Bisto and oxo is definitely maverick.

I was always disappointed with the legendary weapons like the Dagon blade or whathisface's mace. Basically if you took a decent weapon and improved at the smithy and added a couple of enchantments it was also better than the legendary weapon.

Lots of Little drinks Wednesday Went pretty well.
That's two bottles of whisky finished this week. One of them only had a small amount in and I used it to make a cream and whisky sauce (5*) for my steak on Sunday The other also only had a small amount in, but it was cask strength (60.7% in this case)
Even so I feel it is a strong showing.

Faceless there, going all anti-Semitic, and thinking he can dictate from his position of Faceless privilege what other cultures can and can't do.

Basically, woke only works if you completely agree with all tenets of woke, otherwise you’re a fascist and must be cancelled. Whatever that means.

Some of them look nice (like Dawnbreaker), but they’re all really underpowered by the time you’re allowed to take on the daedric quests. They just end up in a chest.

I expect it works pretty well if you just want to be able to discuss the Gilmore Girls with a load of over emotional twenty something women.

According to the Internet, it's not cultural appropriation because he's only pretending to be someone from a different culture. Which is ok. Because he's part of the 'Staines Massif' group - everyone who's lived in Staines gets to say what they like and everyone assumes you're joking. Mainly because folk are too busy trying to work out where Staines is. They've even changed its name to Staines-upon-Thames, which is in Surrey *spit*, but I lived in Middlesex before guvmint stole our county. I hated the abolition of Middlesex. I still do; it's made me a countyless person.

I'm pretty sure Feltham and Staines don't actually exist outside Two Ronnies jokes.

You didn’t even get Endurance to 30, so you’re already doing it your way. I spent a massive amount of time in DS3 grinding. I couldn't get summoned in one of the covenants and had to grind all 30 medals. With about a 1.5% drop rate so 1,500 kills. I also had to do a lot of grinding to get the platinum for every game What I would say is that once level grinding starts to be bothersome - i.e you are having to do multiple runs to grind one level you are almost certainly able to move to an area you haven't completed and be slightly over powered there. It's just finding it. There is little point in spending 10 hours grinding as it's very inefficient and when you move to a new area you'll probably get loads of souls anyway. Worst thing was grinding for pure bladestone in Demon's. That was over 200 kills to get one item.

I'm pretty sure Feltham and Staines don't actually exist outside Two Ronnies jokes. I remember being told that there used to be a Siemens office in Staines . Apparently the front desk used to answer the phones with "Good morning, Siemens Staines". According to Wikipedia Siemens Building Automation Division has its national headquarters there...
