Looks like I won't get to enjoy my level 3 lockdown then. Pretty disappointing. Hot national restrictions just because I refuse to wash my hands properly.

Would you like me to call you an ambulance? I am honestly perplexed by posts like this; it's neither amusing nor informative. I continue to hope that your powerful mind can recover from its current borderline psychotic state. And I know exactly the right person to assist you...

Halloween eh. The child not content with calling Guising 'trick or treating' has started talking about candy instead of sweets as she knows it bams me up. Fucking Americans. Covid, 60mph winds & heavy rain mean no Guising. Tricks on her.

Although she generally speaks with a polite west coast accent she goes full weegie when asking for milk "mulk" as this annoys the pm.

Hello
Our Virgin Broadband hub has died. Two working days for a replacement to be sent out. Not good with 2 people working from home.

Friendly enough with any of the neighbours to use theirs temporarily?

Hello Our Virgin Broadband hub has died. Two working days for a replacement to be sent out. Not good with 2 people working from home. That sucks... I had a quick look around for replacement for Virgin Broadband superhub (I assume that's it) on Amazon, but I can only find routers to attach and effectively turn the hub into a modem. Everything else points at Virgin ... I'd ask my mate, but he's my godson's father = "I'm asking for a friend" might give him a smile and ignore it if he were one of us, but as he's the reality helpful guy he is, he would hyperstress. Perhaps crankcaller can advise ...

Is it not powering up? If not have you checked the power adaptor? Do you have something (other than sucking the end) that will show power is coming out? If it's the power do you have something else with same voltage/current/polarity?
Or try and piggyback a neighbours WiFi.

Do you/anyone else have a mobile hotspot?
I had to wfh using mine for a couple of days when having work done on the house and it used a surprisingly low amount of data. Maybe 0.25 gb per day.
Although if it's for anything other than work/excel, say videos/films, then I guess that isn't an option as it will chew up your allowance quickly.

If you do tether or use a hotspot make sure everyone's devices doesn't have autoupdate for apps/os switched on.

Have you tried switching it off and back on again? Funnily enough I have. I unplugged it and when I plugged it back in again it was dead. No lights. Nothing. I've tethered my laptop to my phone and am currently burning through my mobile data,
