"David Davis: Brexit will not plunge Britain into 'Mad Max dystopia'"
Well. That's alright then.
Meanwhile, Lord Humungus calls for this to be debated in the House of Lords.

All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos... ruined dreams... this wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Referendum. The man we called "Boris." To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time... when the world was powered by bus lies.... Gone now... swept away. For reasons long forgotten, half the country voted Leave, and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without free trade they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. But still...blue passports, eh?

On Fortnite I have found that if I go straight to Tilted Towers I can get into a gun fight right away, die sooner than usual and then restart and get back onto the action all in 10 minutes or so. I forgot what life is outside Tilted Towers now, I hear stuff going on like faint shots of gunfire outside the town limits, but it's like a faded dream.
Watched the reboot of Fantastic Four as well, average film so 4 stars.
Scubar - did you go to Teasers?

Morning,
Some successful restocking missions on GTA last night in the bunker. Those Merryweather fools didn't know what hit them. I think the computer was making it easier on me - I'm certainly not getting better. Grinding to buy a flying De-Lorean.
Don't have any leftovers for lunch. May need to visit Lidl at lunchtime.
TV. Lympics ski slopestyle and snowboard big air.

So based on all the lies about Brexit I'm assuming this means we are definitely going to be plunged into a Mad Max dystopia.

My underpants WILL NOT, and I’d like to be absolutely clear about this, will NOT cause a Max Max style dystopia. Absolutely not. Now, can I interest anyone in my underpants?
Elite! Type 7 fat bap r us. Great fun. 256 units of interplanetary shite at a time. I’m doing a triangular run between the CG, a tourist station and the alliance station that was rude to me a while back. I should probably play something else but I can’t be arsed. I should also go for a run.

Beautiful day outside, real sense of spring on the way. There's a hint of fresh scent in the air and the daffodils are coming up nicely and mingling well with the crocuses in peak bloom. On a day like this I really just want to playing Fortnite.

morning all,
Managed to get a couple of silver trophies last night, one for clearing dungeons and the other for getting smithing up to 100. Dragon scale is quite nifty.
Fortnite - heard lots of good things but I am the definition of cannon fodder.
Games releases - which of the big ones is up first this year?

Fortnite - heard lots of good things but I am the definition of cannon fodder. It's a got a relatively gentle learning curve and the real mastery comes with converting top 10 finishes to actual victories, which I have failed to do so far. When I started I would camp in a house and wait for the footsteps of looters coming in and blast them to hell. Now I'm more about staying on the move and getting the jump on people.

Games: just a bit more Mario+Rabbids. Embarrassing when you fail one of the challenges clearly labelled "easy". Goddammit, why didn't I move Toad a bit further? I would have totally completed it in six turns! I'm working on every character's skills trees.
Other: reassuring, confidence inspiring words from David Davis. Suddenly Andrea Leadsom's words about leading Britain "to the sunlit uplands" make sense. She was thinking of the Green Place of her childhood, unaware that it had meanwhile turned into a swamp.

There's nothing like exercising a well prepared plan and cutting down a foe to have their loot staring at you and then suddenly you die.
