I actually walked away with a 17 and a 20 from tonight’s competition.
Not too shabby, though I expected the scores to be the other way around (the 17 getting a 20, and the 20 getting 17).

Really? Then take it up with FloreatInertia (if that's his/her real name) I wouldn't sweat it too much, America thinks we are Europeans and the European Onion think we're part of Europe as well. Only us true Brits (anyone born here from old family lines or naturalised 2nd and 3rd gen citizens) know for a fact that we are BRITISH (or Pict and Anglo Saxon if you're referring to my ancestors). side note - America have always wanted to take on board Ireland as a permanent connection because it's a useful foothold for a step to Europe. Also if Scotland (may they win) should ever be independent you can pretty much guarantee Europe will swallow them up - scary prospect all said and done. Rant over OTTM - not a lot, mad headaches again, probably too much coffee. |
