PS5ageddon chat.
I got an email from GAME in the early hours telling me my PS5 was now with Yodel and I can click here to track my order and I have a number. Medium level banana news, fairly happy with that update.
As of 2 minutes ago, according to Yodel, my order hasn't reached them yet. Bottom rung bananas. I assume some Yodel guy called in sick last night and is smashing his way through Demon's. The git.
I keep checking the hedge, bin, back garden, but no deliveries yet.

I've only bought one ps5 game so far, Demon's hard copy, which I've had for a week. Also looking forward to seeing any speed/graphic differences of RDR2 and TLOU2 which I have on disc.

Sadly, in this instance demand and sales are significantly higher than any prior hardware launch, supply at launch and following months continues to be very limited."Bollocks This is unfortunately the pattern now with pc components. It started with the mid 2020 Intel chips and the top of the range CPU was nigh on impossible to find for months. Then the Nvida GPUs have been even worse with a few hundred released here and there and demand in the tens of thousands. This was then also the case with the recent AMD CPUs and GPUs. I am glad I got my 10700k when I did instead waiting for the new AMD Ryzens as it would have been a long wait. My 5700xt is still coping well at the moment too so I can wait it out, maybe even for the next series of GPUs to come out when hopefully things are back to normal. |

Funnily enough the menus still look a bit crappy on our 9 year old TV in 1080p. Yet to game on it. Sounds like a good excuse to buy a new, fancy telly. |

I have a delivery slot 13:45 -14:45.
That's not perfect but ok.
I went to Game to pick up the remote and spare controller.
They were on one order, so I collected one enormous box.
Opened it in car. One controller only.
Back to Game A second enormous box was there. The remote is smaller than a phone. No idea why tbey couldn't fit both into either box
