X box/Microsoft have really stepped up to the plate on this one with the series X. they have even managed to set the weight to match that of earths gravity constant - per pound/metres per second squared ( Lb / m/s^2): X Box X Weight: 9.8 pounds (4.45 Kg). Earths Gravity: 9.8 m/s^2.
Earth Gravity is 9.8 m/s^2 on Earth. That is to say, the acceleration of gravity on the surface of the earth at sea level is 9.8 m/s^2. When discussing the acceleration of gravity, it was mentioned that the value of g is dependent upon location. There are slight variations in the value of g about earth's surface.
FYI: 9.8 lbs / 9.8 m/s^2= 0.45359237 kg s^2 / m 43.56 Newtons of Force approx. per X Box series X. So if you know how many were made you can work out the amount of work they are doing on the planet. which is nice, if you like that kind of thing - (related mass weight/gravity etc).
yes I know boring science stuff, maybe I should have just said - ooh soo pretty and left it at that. (and yes I google calculated to save time - so sue me ok).

Morning!
I’m feeling better today, mortgage issue sorted, now just to wait anxiously for seller to get their management pack sorted so they can actually sell the house, and for their period of self isolation to end so we can actually go round the house and measure up before we exchange.

Morning.
The amount of teraflops is a little misleading, AMD released the Radeon 7 GPU about 18 months ago and it had 13.8 teraflops but it was still outperformed by cards with far less.
Gaming night was tough, the matchmaking has us in with the big boys now, lots of "(anonymous) 230" and the like. Best we got was a 2nd place.
OTTM: I had a Shield bug the size of a 50p coin in the office this morning, the huge things was pounding away in the glass while I humanly placed it outside.

Bdt didn't involve the B. No games. Work has started the Brexit panic buying, third or fourth round of this due to Brexit 1, end of transition, changing software and lockdown. Wfh and thinking I might need to put the heating on again during the day which isn't fun. How do people manage in Scotland, apart from daytime drinking?

I had to sack off Riddley Walker as I couldn't get on with that writing style.

Our four day weekend has so far consisted of BDW and BDT.
We ordered from the local Italian last night, enough food so we didn't have to bother making any meals until Saturday dinner time. At which point we'll probably just start drinking again.
Games:still playing Stellaris. Its a bit easy really. Will probably finish this one game, maybe ramp up the difficulty or sack it off.
I've finished tonights video, it involves a man with his shirt off. Spoiler alert, its not me. I know, try not to be too disappointed.

Yep, one character who is unfortunately one of the main narrators.

@iain M Banks chat.
Imho Inversions is one of the weaker ones. Feersum Endjinn is good. It's short, and the phonetic malrkey isn't too bad once you get used to it.

Stop doing whatever you're doing, and go and read Riddley Walker in its entirety at once.

Hello champs.
Gamesblog: pah
TVblog: nah
Camerablog: ah. Or more accurately, AAAAAARGH!!! As mentioned on yesterday’s box, it was an evening for members to showcase their photos taken during lockdown. This amounted to each participant unmuting themselves on the Zoom call, and then sharing their screen. We had: Someone talking about their photos while showing us an unmoving Windows Explorer window. A very jerky presentation playing on a machine incapable of handling the task of doing that whilst streaming. Another presentation with the loudest music known to man, and whose creator then didn’t un-share at the end, blocking everyone else from sharing.
Good times.
