Urgh, morning run before anything else. Back to bed or pottering around the house? Hope the mortgage woes have been sorted, lockdown house buying was different but went through in the expected timeframe.i think the being asked to sanitise gloves was the strangest request.

Mercenaries was a great game. The fuel/air bomb is superb. I love the concept of ordering weapons/vehicles online, and then just being delivered to you. It’s frustrating that the sequel was so poor in comparison. |

Are people who wear the disposable masks actually disposing after each use or just rewearing them? With a beard I know the fp3 ones won't fit securely to my face but that doesn't seem to stop others. |

More decorating today. Boo!
Had a blast on Demon's last night. The ps5 has not died yet, although I haven't spent much time on it. I will be soon though as I break up for xmas on 4th December! Woo!
The effects are fantastic and the machine practically silent. Being set on fire is a joy to watch. Went to the castle, the intro with the dragon is stunning. Made decent progress until a boulder flattened me, but still not dead. Took a left and bashed up a knight(?) with blue eyes. Got a bastard sword by going back down. It's was all going well until another knight with red eyes taught me a lesson. Back to the stone. No souls. Anyway, after that decided to have some fun. Managed to leg it all the way back to red eyes just by sprinting and rolling, with no fighting. Also fell off several ledges to my doom. Im pretty confident now with the bog standard enemies and beat them easily. I might just keep doing this section and avoid any bosses.
OTTM, no.

It has been a bright and sunny day here. We all get the weather we deserve, don't we?
Dinner last night was Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam, potato rösti (fusion cuisine at its finest!), gravy and veg. Shortbread and whiskey for dessert. 4 stars.
This morning I took possession of a new set of non-stick frying pans. This and a set of kitchen utensils to go with it are so far my only purchases in Jeff's week long Black Friday sales pitch.
As soon as they were announced a few days ago I had a look at the Game Awards nominations and found that of all the games I had only played one. No prizes for guessing which one. But it has prompted me to check how many of the nominations I own, and the answer is six: Animal Crossing New Horizons; Hades (which got nominated in almost every category, good for them); Kentucky Road Zero: TV Edition; Spiritfarer; Paper Mario: The Origami King; and Raji: An Ancient Epic. Two more are firmly on my wish list: Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Röki.
I also only just found out that Immortals Fenyx Rising (i.e. Gods and Monsters back when the title was good) is only not on the list of nominees because it hasn't been released yet and not because it flopped.
So no matter how hard the Danky/Sheep/Tuffers trio of influencers makes me want to get a PS5, I should better play the games in my backlog first.
