Podcasts to listen to at night, any good crime recommendations? Making that much grated cheese sounds good, what else can you grate with it? Carrots according to the reviews, there will be tests. <edit>We've tried Parmesan and Cheddar so far.

I have no time; none at all, but 2 things... I've just set up my new £28.99 (Black Friday sale) Echo Dot 4th gen and it's light years better than 3rd gen / 2nd gen. The sound on music is now acceptable Secondly, you can have different 'wake' words on different dots... choice of Alexa, Echo, Amazon, Computer... No more screaming from one room to another like a Whitehall Farce "Not you, Alexa, but you in the Kitchen Alexa" only to have them all playing the same radio station slightly out of synch with each other ... And I'm going to post in the Jukebox a breathtakingly high quality video that will blow your mind if you've got the right quality kit.

Gardening is now on hold, the small wood chipper worked well but I think body disposal would need a lot of work before hand. Not carrots ... at least on my 40 year old version. bits move round and clog it. Faster to use a good sharp knife for slices or a bow handled potato peeler, but what do I know

I don't know yet, Felicity's stollen sample has been delayed in the post. It's got a marzipan centre, so that's a good start, but I take issue with the spices. Nutmeg? That sounds completely and utterly wrong. You can have variations on a theme, but Stollengewürz should contain cardamom, vanilla(!), cloves, mace, cinnamon and allspice. Coriander, anis and ginger are optional, but I have never heard of nutmeg in stollen and can't imagine what it tastes like. The lack of vanilla in the recipe is also shocking - most Germans use vanilla flavoured sugar in sweet baking. But I don't want to judge Felicity's recipe too harshly because I know that silcox is a personal friend of hers. There are some gifted Stollenbäcker in my family, so I usually don't have to make my own, but when I do I prefer baking Quarkstollen (no marzipan in that one) which I find utterly delicious. Sourcing quark in this country can be challenging, though. Stollen is a serious topic.

Ooh, I've only just seen the comment section and the Dresdner Stollen brigade is throwing their weight around. Yes, strictly speaking marzipan is not part of the "original", but I like it and that's what counts.

You can't - or maybe you can - understand how happy Maradona made Scottish folk in the World Cup with that goal. Petty? Oh yes, but that's football.
Hello. My Bose qc35ii headphones arrived today. They were "free" when I got my new phone a few weeks ago. Seem decent enough so far. My goto audio test of Get Innocuous, Positive Education, Everybody Loves the Sunshine all sounded good.
Some games later methinks. Bin night first.

Tuffers If you have a bow and say 200 arrahs you can stand at the top of the first tower and shoot down Red D. You get the bow from the second tower and the arrahs from the blacksmith in the nexus You aim at the gatehouse where you came from. I'm trying this at the moment. Assuming it's not a wind up, how do I know I've hit/damaged it? I only had enough bunce for 90 arrahs.

Meatballs, tomato sauce and pasta for dinner. My new frying pan works like a charm.
Very chilly here tonight.

Diego, RIP.
In my years of watching football, that I can remember, since the 1982 world cup, he was, by far, the best player by some distance.
Yes, I hated him aged 11 in 1986. But the only ones to come (not even) close, for me Clive, were Zidane or Messi. And they're several levels below.
Maybe it's nostalgia, but in my eyes he was a one man mentalist football genius.
Pele, Best or Charlton were my dad's favourites and he rates them higher, but I think Maradona is the GOAT. If, erm, a bit sneaky in 1986!
Apart from Geoff Thomas, obvs.
Non-games chat!

This place is still on? Seems cleaner than the afterbox ever was. Ghost recon breakthing, killed a load of baddies and seem to have run out of main missions without buying more.

Maradona did everything Messi does but with 18 stone defenders getting away with systematically kicking the shit out of him all through every game. Not to mention 20 tabs a day and a rich cocktail of performance hindering drugs.
