Morning! Games: Many thanks to @smellavision for inviting me to his fab island and giving me a little tour, also thanks again for the recipes! On my return home I also had a successful Turkey Day. Really like the design of the new furniture items and will probably use them in my house. They've made so many small but important improvements that take away a lot of irritations, like giving us the opportunity to add the secret ingredients to the Turkey Day dishes after they've already been prepared. Only yesterday I figured out how to get the new hairstyles/reactions that have been available for days. Nothing gets past me, I tell you. I spent far too much time yesterday hogging the comment section of Patrick Lum's review of Age of Calamity because people still don't understand what kind of game it is. This is taking time away from me being able to actually play the game. TV: Started series 2 of His Dark Materials. Black Friday Consumerism Palooza: I just had a pair of wireless earphones delivered that I got on a lightning deal for £16. I also bought a high pressure air duster in the hope that I can clean the vents and fan of my laptop which is overheating at the mere thought of running anything that requires a smidgen more CPU. Hopefully this will do the trick before I have to bring out the thermal paste. OTTM: This morning Bob the Builder returned and identified another job that he would like to get a lot of money for. |

I have just been informed that the Christmas nightmare has officially begun. Apparently we need to put up the decorations. Like literally right now. It doesn't matter that I'm on a call until 5pm. I'll just have to block out that smug cunt Michael bubble and his shite music.
Humbug. It's a good job I started drinking early today.

Tent Hen - thoughts on HDM? I've only seen the first episode of S2, but I thought it was dull. Shenguin is the official HDM expert. You can't take that away from him, he'll have nothing. Incidentally season 2 is terrible. Inconsistent use of Daemons. Doesn't look like the people in Shenguin's head. Dialogue is awful. Will review next weeks episode. |

It's shit, the daemons are shit and extras obviously often don't have a daemon, and the daemons look shit when they talk, leading to weird camera cuts to avoid showing too much of the shitness.

I was surprised that the more exciting events (avoiding spoilers here) in Cittàgazze weren't included. Instead Will got the shower working. Always good to know where to find a competent plumber, though. Maybe he can have a look at Rolling's problem with his shower? |
