Inverted is the correct way to play a controller because as you pull down it mimics leaning back to look up. but if you're not inverting you're pushing up, to mimic looking up. This is madness. Pick a spot on the ceiling to look at, do you push your head back or forward? |

Last night I watched the first episode of The Expanse in 4K UHD. My question is this:
Does it get better or should I just sack it off now?

The difference is when I am playing a game I am playing a game, not staring at the fucking ceiling.
Also unless the spot is behind me I jut look up at the ceiling. Neck movement, eye movement. Up. No backwards movement, no forwards movement.
In old 2D/3D games did you change the controls so that you pressed down to walk to the top of the screen?
Before the dualshoc most games didn't separate look and move. You looked in the direction you were facing.
The Resident Evil games had movement based on the way your character was facing So forward was forward, not necessarily 'up'.
That sort of worked, once you got used to it. but it was clumsy.

Give it 2 more episodes, then if you don't like it sack it off as it doesn't get much better really. I thought the first series was a pretty solid 4 out of 5. I think they have confirmed that the series coming in 2021 will be the last as well. |
