Morning all, I'm feeling decidedly under the whether too, but no jaw pain. Probably the night air.
Two hours of back to back Teams meetings this afternoon isn't helping. Had 4 1/2 hours on Monday, including a slamming 1hr30 Webex that was off the hook.
Got a small "Crimbo" bonus from work and am now considering weather to get Immortals or Cyberpunk for PS5. Cyberpunk may be a bit danger fraught with the new massive UHD HDR 50" TV, as apparently there are massive dongers everywhere. We have no curtains and our massive TV is eminently visible from the neighbouring flats opposite. No word on how it runs on consoles either, and no sight of a PS5 version in the near future.

Weather blog: cold
Pref.Mam. in hospital blog: He's on the mend. On Monday I got hold of a doctor who estimated that the process of weaning him off the ventilator mask would take a week or two. Then I was told yesterday that he had spent the whole day without the mask (which he hates with a vengeance) and that he had been out of bed for the first time with the help of the physio. So it seems as if he's making great progress and will be home sooner rather than later. Hopefully he's not catching anything else while he's there.
Games blog: just enough time for ACNH and not much more as I'm still busy constantly updating family members on the situation via phone and text. Sunday morning I missed buying turnips because I was talking to my mother. Now it looks as if that saved me some bells as I may have a decreasing pattern on my hands.
TV blog: Over the last days I have been binge watching *whispers* the new Netflix She-ra and the Princesses of Power. I need to, err, check it out for my granddaughters, you understand. I'm now on the penultimate episode, so I need to find new viewing.

The new She-Ra is really good, don't be ashamed. I watched the first series when it came out and then discovered that there had been four more seasons and it had concluded. I had never watched the original because I was no longer in the target demographic when He-Man and the Masters of the Universe came out (I remember that the kid next door was a fan who had all the plastic toys). The new She-Ra has very good character design and really nice writing, it gets the Granny Stamp of Approval. Now I just need to find the right sales pitch for the granddaughters' parents. |

It is supposed to be very good. But perhaps OTT for just gaming. You should definitely use it for music if you buy it. At least to test and see if you like it. |
