Cyberbug chat: My helicopter has been circling the top of the Arasaka Tower for 15 hours now. There are helicopters to fly?
Maybe I will have do dig out the HOTAS after all otherwise i'm boogered...
Not really, toward the end of act 1 there is a bit where you man the gun in one.

I am patiently awaiting Elden Ring, Demon's Souls 2 and Bloodborne 2. They will be the best. No doubt

Chumbles said: "I have finally got that goddamned plug working." Did you have to turn off the 5Ghz WiFi? My two smart plugs and one smartbulb need 5Gig turned off when setting up. Nope - I had to go into the Alexa apps and once I had gone into the device settings they started firing ok; on powering up I guess the Alexa stuff goes polling and if it ain't switched on then it don't exist, I have a 3 gang extension and 1 and 3 were 'seen' but not 2! The printer's IP address has to be set via a USB2 cable to my PC and I can't safely carry it because of my crocked legs. Oh, and the fuckers at podiatry, who I chased for the third time suddenly discovered that the guy who was coming had to cover someone who was doing the hospital stuff. Note my position in the pecking order. Every.Third.Visit. Rescheduled for Friday - I am going to be soooo bricked up by then

One of the many benefits of being PC master race. Once you've spent loads of time and money to finally get a game to work, you then have to struggle with actually finding a way of making it playable. The official CDPR response to this particular bug (the Love Like Fire Bug) was to reload or start the game from scratch if needed. Very helpful stuff.

Children these days don't know how good they have it. When I was young I had to walk 15 miles barefoot through the snow to watch an XBox progress bar on Christmas Day and I was grateful for it. Progress bar, you were lucky, we had a blank screen and had to imagine a bar and if we were very lucky we were allowed to imagine a game as well. Screens? We never had screens, just my mother shrieking in binary, and only then could we imagine Horace skiing.

I'm busy doing actual admin work at the moment. Domestic stuff, dull.
Mrs T has gone out shopping to purchase a new pair of black trousers for the funeral 'cos she is too fat to fit in her old ones.

Bit embarrassing for a 37 year old, even in 1983.

New roof is looking really quite nice. Just a shame about the 2” chunk they’ve taken out of the front door in the process...
Time to get a quote to chuck back at them...
Home-ownership. It’s brilliant!*
*I fully appreciate how lucky I am to be in the position of actually owning property.

After a stock take of the alcohol cabinet I can report the following: - 1 70cl bottle of Glenmorangie
- 1 70cl bottle of Kahlúa
- 1 70l bottle of Smirnoff Vodka
- 6 bottles of wine (mixture of red and white)
- 12 cans of Jaipur (on route)
Hopefully enough to get me through Xmas day.
There is backup cooking booze too, one bottle of Kirsch and mostly full bottle of Cointreau.
There is also a bottle of Amaretto, but hopefully the situation will never be dire enough for that.
I expect I will get booze for gifts as well.

6 bottles of wine (mixture of red and white) Or, as I would call it, a full-blown emergency.

Hello
Whiskyblog Looking for something to have at Xmas. Annoyed that Sainsburys didn't have the 10 year Talisker anymore.
Gamesquitblog. Pathfinder Kingmaker is wonderful in so many ways but broken in others. Couldn't put up with the Kingdom events and bizarre slow pace of the characters anymore. Plus that event I didn't get round to has now hit the deadline.
