I killed a plant by pouring a can of Skol into its pot. It was ~1997, at a house party. It’s possibly the worst “beer” I’ve ever tried. Bleurgh! 1997.All the Brighton lads in a circle. Amipal, full head of flowing locks like Chesney Hawkes, in the middle. "SKOL SKOL SKOL SKOL!" they chant at him. Amipal lifts the can up above his head. "WOOOOOAAAAAOOOOAAHHHH" the lads cry out, with their outstretched arms, shaking their palms and fingers. Amipal pours can into a Yucca plant pot. "WAAAAAAHHEEYY". Worst. Party. Ever. It’s been downhill ever since. |

Don't think I'll ever tire of headshots with the bow in Tomb Raider. So good. Popped into animal crossing to get my poppers. Couldn't get into the resident services to get any money so it's lucky Tom Nook was giving the first hit for free. Socially distanced party on my island.  |

Going to sleep here requires the idiots who think it's OK for them to scare all the local cats and dogs witless to stop; my legs not to decide that pain (a great deal of it) is a good way to see the English New Year* in, and the 3 litres of fluid I've drunk during the day to, err, disappear!
*Celebrating a virtual NYE in a different timezone was a lot easier, quieter and pleasant, the bozos opposite hadn't switched on their substation draining lights then. Even through heavy lined curtains they shine - just gone off, time to make another assault on Bedfordshire ....
