Games: I got my bottom handed to me by a huge Sasquatch thing in Cyberpunk so I will try and level up a bit before trying that again. Also some Fortnite and PUBG.
Telly: White Space - bloody awful from start to finish. So awful I am just angry thinking about it.
New Year's Eve: Staying in and zooming people.

Can 2020 get worse? Oh yes. Gather ye round for a tale of woe....
About 7 o clock last evening my central heating pipes started a-gurgling and kitchen radiator was cold, so being the proactive DIY type that i'm not, I dug out the key, and bled out the air... re-pressurised the system, and congratulated myself on a job well done. Couple of hours later the gurgling pipes appeared again, and pressure had dropped - oh well thinks I - must be another bit of air to bleed - will do it in the morning. Off to bed.
Opened bedroom door to be hit in the legs with a fine spray of water. UH-oh. Another step, and could see water oozing out between my toes from a sodden carpet. Cue gong going to into emergency mode. Heating off. rad valves off. bucket and chuck it drill engaged. by now it was well after midnight. The leak was found to be a pinhole in the rad core. Carpet is soaked. Probably too corroded for a temp fix of whacking in a self tapping screw so I resigned my self to an early dart to B+Q, and crashed out on the dry side of the bed.
About 2am i'm woken by a phone call from Drunkbuddy. He's pissed as a newt, and thinks it is new year already so is making his happy NY calls. I may have been a little off with him, but he probably wont even remember. Twat.
So - here I am allegedly working from home - no heating or hot water. I do have a shiny new rad in the boot of the car but its a big beast, and I need the help of one of Mrs gongs boys to help me heft the old one off, and the new one in. If I were to attempt it on my own then things would get broken, probably including me.
Standby for episode 2 of this thrilling real-time drama.....

Film? Tiny bit of Death to 2020, hearing Laurence Fishburne call Boris a “Prime Ministerial scarecrow” and Trump “President and experimental Pig Man” was glorious. Already a big fan of Hugh Grant’s character.

Bit of the wardrobe falling off and hitting me on the nose? Yes.

Hello all.
Today, we’ve been for a chilly walk across the frosty fields behind us. I’d love to say it was a calm, brisk walk, but that would be a lie. The entirety of it was conducted at a four-year-old’s pace. One who didn’t really want to be walking in the first place. 4*
Gamesblog: no
TVblog: a single episode of Justified.
NewYearsblog: food already ordered from the local pop-up takeaway. Plan for later was to watched Aliens (is a New Years tradition in this household), but doubt my partner will get anyway near midnight.
Might just pop Mercenaries on.
OTTM: partner was on a Zoom birthday call last night, so that was pretty much the whole evening. At least I had wine.
