Americans say they are better than us but we did a fair bit more damage to the capitol building last time.

I had wondered why the pm was talking loudly to the child. Was to drown out the clapping so we didn't have to explain why we weren't doing it. Again.
The guy next door of course was out. The women across the way kinda hung out the extension window and clapped. A bit.

War of 1812 Lasted until 1814. Mostly at sea. We whipped the US Navy. Sailed into Chesapeake bay up the Potomac and captured Washington. Destroyed the Capitol and damaged the White House. Satisfied with the win we made peace in late 1814. Then invaded New Orleans incompetently in Jan 1815. Lost a battle stupidly. Then honour satisfied we implemented the peace. |
