Hello.
Two of ten skirting boards put back up yesterday, as well as built a new sideboard. Would have put more skirting boards up but it appears I drastically underestimated how much no more nails I had.
Great story, compelling and rich.
I also played some more Ass Creed Vikings, found the Sons of Lothbrok. Ivarr seems like a nice chap.

Kid 2 spilled the milk of kid 1 this morning. Mayhem and the need to blame a supervising adult (me) ensued.
Games: One game of PUBG.
Films: Rest of Terminator 2.
Weather: Cloudy with a bit if sun.
OTTM: Looks like we will all be vaccinated by the autumn.

All this competent DIY chat. Is Scubar a ... normal person? Oh most definitely not. I have crates of Pepsi holding the skirting in place while the glue dries. And just now I managed to nearly superglue my fingers together.

scubarYou can competently install skirting boards? You sicken me. Morning all! Gamesblog: none of that. TVblog: partner watched some Sabrina (the Netflix one, ya filthy animals). And then I watched an episode of TNG: Tapestry. Amigablog: fun and games with my desktop 1200’s SD card. I’m having to do a full reinstall of the operating system, and then copy back all of the games etc. that were installed. All because of one bright idea I had...

This is the free school meals Marcus Rashford fought for. This is apparently £30 pounds worth of food meant to last a kid a week. Where the fuck would this cost 30 notes? The Waterstones at Heathrow maybe. Thats 5 quids worth of food, tops. As usual, this government has managed to turn what should have been a opportunity to assist the less well off into a money making exercise for one of their cronies at the taxpayers expense. Is it my imagination, or are the Torys a bunch of bastards?

Who the fuck drinks Pepsi let alone owns crates of it?
Pretty much the definition of not normal.
If the prosecution need a bad character witness at Scubar's trial I'm in.

Is it my imagination, or are the Torys a bunch of bastards? Is it meant to provide all meals for a week or 5 workday lunches? If it is the latter then it is doable. Not great, but doable. Not that I'm defending the Tories, It certainly looks like a miserable offering.

I certainly survived on less as a kid, but thats the key word, survived. It wasn't living. But on no planet other than planet kickback does thay cost 30 pounds.

It's not £30 of food though. It's £5-6 at an expensive supermarket. You could probably get it for £4 fairly easily. And that is at retail. At wholesale it's probably more like £2.
This s profiteering and exploitation.

I guess in theory, that £30 should also pay for the logistics of getting it to the child, but that’s still pathetic. And nowhere near £30 worth.

This s profiteering and exploitation. I've seen different pictures of what people are getting, and it all seems very regionally variable, but not one picture shows £30 of food. £10-15 at absolute most depending on the picture. Even, as Scubar said, you add in logistics, its nowhere near costing 30 quid.

It's disgraceful. Totally disgraceful.
As has been said in here and elsewhere it's another exercise in cronyism at the expense of the less well off.
I really hope the folk in the Labour heartlands who voted Tory are seeing this. By this I mean the food supplies - not this forum. I'm not that unkind.

Beaten to it by Babyfark... I hope you got to see attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion and to watch C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate
