2 deliveries done, 2 to come, 2 disputes (both fucking Herpes) to resolve - here's my current missile... "That is not me nor is that my house.
I am disabled, housebound, live on my own and permanently dress in white with pale blue check hospital gowns; there is a green rubbish bin placed hard against the door post of my house; I wear yellow Marigold gloves when receiving deliveries as I have been shielding since March 2020...
- in that picture there is no green bin, the individual receiving the delivery is clearly wearing jeans and a black top (I don't even own a pair) and that individual is much shorter than I am and my paving is amber.
As I understand the law of contract you are responsible for the delivery of the goods to me. As you commission the carrier you are also responsible for that part of the logistics.
I expect to receive either the goods or a refund ...
Yours sincerely," A fucking furious Chumbles; the clincher is that door is cleanMy eyes are bleeding, bring back the curry puns

The process with shopping takes forever when it's wet as everything has to be dried then sprayed then parked for 2 days unless it's fridge / freezer bound...

Shenguin there, desperately trying to recoup that pocket money he grudgingly gave to non-child.

Just walked to and back from Waitrose and appallingly it was some people's bin day, near a Waitrose!

Still snowing here. We have at least a couple of inches of snow now. I gathered a decent amount together on the front lawn to help toward an igloo later, but then the PM pinched half of it for a snow man.

Chumbles, recently the illustration below came to my attention. Pretty accurate, except that we all know that Herpes is much more resourceful and knows of more than one way to ruin your day.

Hello all.
Gamesblog: all quiet on the gaming front.
TVblog: Star Trek TNG, second part of a two-parter featuring Worf indoctrinating young Klingons in the ways of their species before convincing them to leave their parents*.
Amigablog: after finally recreating my SD card “hard disk”, bunged it back in the actual Amiga. And all good. A quick game of Chaos Engine, where upon I actually made it to the second world. Did make it past the first level; but I’m getting there.
*who are without honour.

No snow here, just rain and darkness. *shudders* Yesterday the Pref.Mam. phoned to say that he's very happy with the new radio and the 3 way mains adapter that Destry suggested, so fortunately they did not object to it and it solved his problem of having only one socket available. The radio, btw., is this dinky little number that I chose for its superior battery life: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081TC33KR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1He was also talking about just having to sit out a few more days of isolation and how the days of Covid crisis were behind him. I was happy to hear that but worried that he might have spoken to soon. Naturally, it turns out he spoke to soon. This morning he reported that he had a bad night, with the virus bouncing back and causing him choking and breathlessness. Fortunately the nurses were at hand to help him with oxygen. The doctors were telling him that this is a feature of Covid but the fact that its attack was weaker than last time shows that he's winning the battle even if he's got to fight again, so that's reassuring. While we were talking he was sitting in his chair and having coffee and cake, so he was definitely feeling better. This is making me anxious for the sister of gongfarmer 's PM. Hope she's okay and will call 111 or 999 if she feels that she's in trouble. Ganes: Been playing ACNH, if by 'playing' one means switching the game on and then falling asleep on the sofa whilst holding the controller. This keeps happening, but when I get ready for bed I always get a second wind and then I can't sleep. This is wrong and annoying. (I also fell asleep while I was writing this post.)

I also watched the little trailer for Bowser's Fury. So this is where Super Mario Odyssey's DLC went. Huh.

Secret is to play games in bed that way you can play 24/7 without sleeping
Hope the PM gets better soon. It's been a while.

tenthenemyHere's hoping he continues to improve and is back with you soon. And it looks like he has a pretty good chance of immunity from further infection for at least 5 months by which time I'm sure he'll have had the vaccine (even with the current incompetents in charge,)

This is making me anxious for the sister of gongfarmer 's PM. Hope she's okay and will call 111 or 999 if she feels that she's in trouble. Thanks TH. She reported yesterday that she felt a little better and had managed to keep some yoghurt down, and had managed a sit-down bath. Today though not so good and has called the doctor. We are waiting for an update as to next steps. She is diabetic, so not eating is putting her insulin levels out of whack, and diarhaouhea is risking dehydration, so the worry is she may have to go to hospital for a drip to stabilize her fluids, let alone the added stress and drama of being in a covid ward. Time will tell.
If she does go in then we'll also need to do something with her moggy, as can't leave it to fend for itself.

Good luck to preferred mammals and family members, hope no others are going into hospital the next few weeks as they seem very busy. Does this mean the loosening of lockdown lead to thing becoming overwhelmed?
