What's everyone having for lunch?
I think I have simple tastes. I love baked potatoes with beans and cheese, and that's what I'm having today.

I think I may have a Ginster's Cornish Pasty, baked from frozen.

Frozen to seal in the flavour.

I love baked potatoes with beans and cheese, and that's what I'm having today. I love baked spuds. Had them on Sunday. As much as I love beans I hate them on baked spuds - unless they're part of leftover chilli. I like cheese, houmous, coleslaw, leftover chilli/Bolognese, tuna, leftover lasagne if you're going full carb. Lunch was toast with houmous, chicken, orange pepper and cucumber. Oh, ratatouille is good on baked spuds as well. As is puy lentil/chorizo/tomato stew thing.

N.B. Not all of those things at once on a spud

Salami and gherkin sandwich and poppadum crisps. Then a muller chocolate yoghurt.

Egg mayo is the best baked potato topping.

Pref.Mam just tried the Hot and Sour soup I made for tonight and the reaction was "it's not unpleasant".
What more can a cook ask for?

I just ate leftover bread, cheese, raw pepper and raw carrot, taken from the plates of children after they'd finished.
It's a new low, in a series of ever-deeper lows and terrible life decisions.
On the other hand, that's my fresh fruit and veg intake sorted for February.

Corned beef sandwich.
It was glorious, despite being glorified cat food.

It should be illegal to be awake this early.
Afternoon all.
Gamesblog: none whatsoever.
TVblog: Adventure Time. Cameo voice artists included Levar Burton and Jonathan Frakes. Full-beam.
YouTubeblog: rewatched a ton of videos on the id.3. Frustratingly, but understandable, there are no test drives available until lockdown finishes. Boo’urns.

I'm a big fan of cheddar and coleslaw on a potato. There used to be a place called 'The Hot Potato Kitchen' next to London Bridge. It was a snack-hatch, and they really understood potatoes. White pepper makes the potato. This is what I learned.
I didn't work at The Hot Potato Kitchen ... I just used to visit. Again. And again. And again.

Someone on my team's call who had their camera off for the whole first part of the call just turned it on when the host said it was break time and we could switch our cameras off.
You're a digital proxy are you who can help folk with IT problems. Hmm.

I remember taking a baked spud from takeaway back as I'd asked for cheese & coleslaw. The clown making it put the coleslaw inside the potato and therefore was warm and the cheese on top. I was very angry at the incompetent bastard. Very angry.
It's a social enterprise so I couldn't express this. So I came here.

Crazy. Crazy.
I've taken back potatoes, before, because they put beans on top of the cheese. I realise now that it was just down to a difference of interpretation, rather than an actual transgression, so I wouldn't behave like that again. Someone did once put beans on cheese, though, with butter on top of the beans. That's something I'll never understand.
