Morning.
Gaming night was "meh" although I got this good duo kill in PUBG before rescuing my fallen brother:
Glad it's Friday.

From yesterday... amipal , what's the value of these scores are they given by someone who knows what they're talking about? Not trying to diminish your work, just interested. Most judges are members of the Royal Photographic Society. The poorer ones tend to be LRPS (Licentiate of the Society), which is classed as “demanding but achievable by most dedicated photographers”. Last night’s judge is an ARPS (Associate of the Society). In ARPS, communicating a sense of place, a concept or narrative is key. The idea is that, if an ARPS photographer thinks your photo is good, then it probably has some merit... and if they say “this would do well in external competition” then it’s probably really good!

Morning. Still a winter wonderland here. Meant to rain over the weekend though.
TV. No. Books. No. Though really should crack on with the work bookgroup one as it's on Wednesday. As the PM did say "it's your O Grade English all over again. Talking shite about a book you've supposed to have read"
Games. Not really. As more of an experiment I installed Ryujinx the switch emulator to see if it would work. Downloaded Super Mario 3D World. Ran at 60fps. The first time you run a map it stutters a bit filling the cache with the models etc. The scratch marks on the wall when you're a cat is a nice touch. Might buy it when it goes on sale for 35 quid in about 3 yrs.

I was witness (And enabler)to one of the all time great inept Fortnite performances.
Shenguin ill advisedly got in to a completely unnecessary fight with one of the 'hero' people. He got knocked down pretty quickly.
I rescued him (rescue #1)
Shenguin ill advisedly got in to a completely unnecessary fight with the same enemy in the same spot He got knocked down pretty quickly.
I rescued him (rescue #2)
Due to this we got caught in the storm. As we weren't going to make it I rescued a taxi and we drove straight for safety. However I had to stop to heal myself
Shenguin ran off but lost all his health to the storm and was knocked down. As I was committed (2 rescues and a car) and he said he would be ok, once I was healed I found him and rescued him (rescue#3)
I then made it to the edge of the storm. Shengers did not. So I turned back once again. Found him near the edge of the storm, healed him (rescue #4) despite not having much health.
At this point the storm started moving in again. I ran out of health having misjudged this. Shenguin ran off claiming to be designated survivor. So many resources had been poured in to keeping him alive he could not risk himself.
Obviously he then immediately got in to a fight unnecessarily and got killed without firing a shot.
Four stars.

We did not win any games. Do I even need to say that?

Hello
I feel better today. I think my hallucinations were due to fever. I had blamed the horrible poisonous anti-biotic I’m on. Nitrofurantoin - A bad business. To me it does have slight psychoactive properties. A chemical insectoid quality. Grim.
What else?
I might watch Excalibur today. I meant to watch it the other day but I might actually watch it today.

Morning all.
Gamesblog: no
TVblog: no
Camerablog: scores an 18 and a 19 (out of 20) in last night’s competition, which has pushed me into first place of the set subject competitions. I’m... kind of a big deal.
OTTM: I have to go to the Co-op at lunch, because previously agreed plans for burgers-in-buns tonight have been altered. And now I have to put myself at risk.

Morning all,
Gaming. Starting up a new game of CIV 6, not liking my start position and restarting. That has been my evenings this week.

I didn't realise Stonehenge was that far west tbh. Dunno where I thought was. Never really thought about it. Thought they'd maybe built it nearer London so you could visit at the solstice and possibly catch the v&a on the same day. Mind blown.

Maybe the stone henge was just the foundation, and framework, for a ruddy big house.

DominicorourkeDid you like you like Geralt? A strutting peacock - a puffed up muscle man. I think I liked Geralt more at the start of the game, than in the end game sequence. Some of the dialog options for him at the end, didn’t really align with the chivalrous actions I’d taken. I also had difficulties with the sexual politics of the game, nearly all the women had their breasts out at some point, jokes were made at the expense of homosexual characters. It was all a bit too much boys-club for my liking. Not sure I could ever recommend it as a game to anyone I liked. As for the mechanics of the game, I am blown away at how large the world is, how you can just wander about and not follow any quest lines, but having played BOTW first, I’m more likely to go back to that, than to NG+ this one.
