I also had difficulties with the sexual politics of the game, nearly all the women had their breasts out at some point, jokes were made at the expense of homosexual characters. It was all a bit too much boys-club for my liking. Not sure I could ever recommend it as a game to anyone I liked. But you recommended it to me? Shouldn't there be an "Oh" at the end of this post.

DominicorourkeDid you like you like Geralt? A strutting peacock - a puffed up muscle man. I think I liked Geralt more at the start of the game, than in the end game sequence. Some of the dialog options for him at the end, didn’t really align with the chivalrous actions I’d taken. It was all a bit too much boys-club for my liking. Not sure I could ever recommend it as a game to anyone I liked. As for the mechanics of the game, I am blown away at how large the world is, how you can just wander about and not follow any quest lines, but having played BOTW first, I’m more likely to go back to that, than to NG+ this one. Yeah - my main image from the game is of Geralt striding around as his girlfriend sits naked in a hot soapy tub. I didn’t care much for Geralt. He was like Don Draper. Don Draper in chainmail, with a six-pack. Get a haircut you yob.

Wasn't it Geralt naked in the bath at the start of the game? Up close and personal.

Iirc there was one part of the game where you ended up fighting one of Geralt's ladies to the death if you chose the wrong dialogue option ('mildly disagree' or similar).

I actually only played the Witcher 3 for a couple of hours...
My big disappointment was that - everyone said the world was so big but once I tried to walk up a lane and the game turned me round and had me come back.
At least in Skyrim they did it with a ruddy big mountain.

Kind of puts scubar's house moving woes into perspective. I notice he's not complained about having to clear out the garage since this Stonehenge malarkey was revealed.

Lunchblog: chorizo, cheese, and a tomato/sweet-pepper sauce in a ciabatta. Tasty stuff. Would probably swap the mature cheddar for something milder in future, like a sliced edam. 4*

Egg mayo sandwiches.
I didn't need reviving at all whilst eating them, no storm and no bullet damage taken over lunch.

I'm not going to read that. I'm giving serious consideration to sacking the guardian off altogether. Every time I read an article it seems to be "x demographic is entitled to more. It should be up to y demographic to fix it" followed by 2000 idiots trying to either agree or disagree in the most smug way possible.

Morning! Glad to hear you are feeling better, lazybones . Late last night I played a bit of the Monster Hunter Rise demo. Just the tutorial with Master Utsushi. He's got the lockdown hair, but he still hasn't grasped that the mask goes over the nose. Nitwit. That is the first time I've played something other than ACNH in a looooong time. Granted, I was very tired and didn't stay long, but baby steps, you know. Tuffers ! You also recently dipped your toes into Monster Hunter! Was that World? Because my friend Andrew is an experienced player who has made videos chronicling the adventures of his hunter Leslie and her Palico Bob I'm very familiar with the gameplay without ever having tried it myself, until now. I'm using the demo to figure out what weapon to main, but it's a bit tricky because the tutorial monsters are so easy that one doesn't get much of a feeling for the different weapons. Anyway, I like the speed and ease with which your hunter moves. And the Palamute is a good doggy, although Andrew is right that Palamutt would have been a much better name. ACNH blog: Snake (or rather "Snake? Snake! Snaaaaake!") had pitched his tent at my campsite. He was my neighbour in New Leaf and I'm still looking for a new Jock villager, so I tried to get him to move in and in the process lost all of the card games, until the game took pity and he offered to talk to Resident Services. I have now waited for such a long time for Cyrano to announce that he's moving his blue snout away from my island that I was convinced that it would be him who gets replaced. Instead it was Whitney. Sorry Snake, no dice. I have Stonehenge on my Animal Crossing island, so when I saw those archaeologists contemplating whether the structure was moved from Wales to Salisbury Plain by land or by sea I was wondering whether they knew that one can just collapse it into one's inventory?

"I'm still looking for a new Jock villager" Hiya! Oh, that sort of Jock.
I take it all the PS4 owners with ps+ are adding the "free" ps5 games in the ps store in case they ever get one?
I had hoped the guy in work with the PS5 would offer to log me in on his so I could grab the ps collection games but he's not taken the hint.
