Snowcrash instead of Neuromancer? Lol I didn't finish either of them. Gibberish and nonsense. I thought Snowcrash was really good, first mention of an avatar in a computer, Neuromancer I found rather a bit dull.

I did not like Snowcrash and I did not like Cryptonomicon. If you don't like those wrong opinions, I've got plenty more.

Cryptonomicon is one of my favourite ever books. I was only a young Sheep (27) when I read it and it is possible I was at a particularly vulnerable age.

I hated American Gods. How about that one? I quite liked it, but I am generally indifferent to his books.

I hated American Gods. How about that one? You must have read it wrong. We're you holding it upside down? That might explain it.

I love LeGuin's Wizard of Earthsea, but I would have thought Left Hand of Darkness has the kind of dynamic tension in a strange, but consistent environment that would make brilliant game.
However, the category of books that would make great games is huge. Specious inclusion in that list.
The entire thing reeks of a journo doing a lit search to add to his own stuff and padding it out to get some dosh. Its audience is small.
