I couldn't stand Gormenghast. Awful this is fact. Well yes. Factually that is my opinion.

I'm just going to come out and say it: I don't like anything, except chips, Apex Legends and booze.

I couldn't stand Gormenghast. Awful Back in my youth I liked some of its imagery, but found the trilogy self-indulgent. But I wouldn't call it awful.

Was there a tv adaptation of Gormenghast? Maybe about 20 years ago?

I bounced off Earthsea, but that might have just been me. Felt very dated, which considering it’s eons old, it probably is. Can see how it influenced others, but not for me, Clive.

How’s that for a wrong opinion? Up there with Roling's dislike of Neal Stephenson.

I may have read Snowcrash. But 92/93 is a bit of a haze. I probably read about it in Wired magazine whilst waiting on a gopher connection to work via a telnet session to UCL and beyond. Or maybe not.
Really need to take the bins in. BDT anyone? Think I've one can of beer in the house though there is wine.

Happy birthday Mr. Otiosum Osseous
Well I had the first jab, I had a text from my GP's that led to a phone call to set up an appointment at a practice within 30 mins of home, 2 days later had the appointment. I go in I fill out a form (usual sanitation process applies), 5-10 minute wait they ask where I want the javelin thrown (right arm), I squeal like a stuck piggy from the pain only to be told they haven't even started yet (just kidding - honest) a quick "oh look there's Elvis" distraction and 30 secs done. THEN they hand me the 'read this before you have the jab' pamphlet that tells me about the possible side effects. (PS- if I start to sound as though I'm from Mars send Mr. Tiddles) 15 minutes wait in the 'clearance' area which is wide open and sparse with multiple doors, make of that what you will and I'm on my way home for a nice pint of coffee. I feel okay so far, how's your day been?

Happy Birthday Mr Bones!
OTTM - PM's rona result came back negative, so she promptly sent me up the shop for some baccy. When she first came down with symptoms i'd stupidly clicked the nhs app on MY phone to see what the symptoms were, and it promptly went red and told me to self isolate. Now she has the all clear I've been able to reset my app using her code. All very strange. She is out of bed now and huddled under a blanket on the sofa with the dog, binge watching Tales of the unexpected.
Games? No - I am 'working'.

Gardeningblog: I’ve just been in the front garden, cutting down some errant bamboo growing over from next door. There’s also a huge palm tree, whose fronds were starting to block light in our living room. In the process of chopping up the latter for putting in the garden waste bin, I managed to get a piece stabbed into my left index finger. This snapped off, leaving a good centimetre of palm tree sticking out of my finger.
I’ve managed to remove it. It resembled some impressive piece of horror makeup special effects.
What I really needed was a stainless steel dish to throw the shard in, blood diffusing through the saline solution.

Happy Birthday Lazy.
Clan of The Cave Bear
Make a good game, especially if that game is the only bit of sex education you get in a repressed catholic state.
