I chopped down a tree the other day. I moved out of the way as it was falling but, after it fell, it rolled over my man and killed him. Did it steal your clothes? I did lose them again at that point. But I was able to retrieve them quickly enough. |

The BLM is said in the context of black lives being perceived to not matter. an opinion: I realise that the Black Lives Matter thing was because of the constant killing of black people in the US, however by separating black people into a niche in this way through these protests it puts all other lives in the shade, which means in part you may miss negative events that may happen to other 3rd world or unfortunate peoples in the world. And yes black lives should matter as long as the rest of the worlds troubled regions don't become 'the oppressed' because of the drive for the black community to be recognised as part of the human race. ALM should include anyone or any life form bar none that is treated with contempt or disrespect. |

But Kane, doesn't that argument effectively cancel any form of minority protest? If I go on strike for more pay, can my employer just say yes you do deserve more pay but so does everyone else, so tough luck? It too easily becomes a way to close down discussion.

This is true for individual cases but then you're setting presidencies that may backfire at some future moment. Each case should be dealt with on it's own merit as long as the whole scope isn't ignored in the process. Much like when I used to play COD zombies, you deal with the ones in front of you but don't forget about the ones behind them. |

Yesterday I was supposed to sort through paperwork and was suffering from task reluctance, so I played some Animal Crossing instead.
So I had some spare gaming time after dinner and decided to continue with Xenoblade Chronicles. I say continue, but again I was just faffing about in Colony 9, trying to talk to as many people as possible and take on all the side quests. And there are a lot of people to talk to.
It's also one of these games with an excessively long list of achievements. Already it's giving me completionist anxiety.
There's been some welcome improvements to the menu and the HUD in the remaster. Compared to the original it's actually intelligible and useful.
Definitely recommend this new, definitive edition. It's such a lovely game.
Speaking of Xenoblade, a few days ago I also watched Sakurai's presentation on the new Smash characters from XC 2. So he's got a collection of plastic dollies that's almost as large as mine? And he's locking some into his desk drawer at work so that no-one can find out what characters he's planning to put into Smash? Now that he's put that information out, what's the bet that the office cleaning crew will be infiltrated by spies?

A bit of serendipity tonight, Pref.Mam had an appointment for the AZ vaccine*, I got them to ask why I haven't received an invite yet** and the nurse said just join the queue as they have some spare for tonight result! also I went to pick a prescription and was reminded that it was free now, double result!
*They're younger than me but have asthma so got bumped up the list.
**Apparently they jumped from +65 people to vulnerable people with +60 next.

I'm with Piers Morgan on this one. I know I have loads of terrible opinions, but this takes the prize of most terriblist-ist of all time, of all time. FFVII remake is good, but not great. If you've never played a FF game before then it's a good starting point as it's not turn based combat. |
