Wanting to keep an eye on medical procedures and declining the anaesthetic is such a Chumbles thing to do. No wonder they were nervous. I once had an operation on my foot, I was on local anaesthetic and the surgeon told me off for sitting up to watch it |

I’ve been thinking. Thinking about playing fortnite. Because it’s what all the cool kids seem to be doing, and the she-fixed and baby are playing it too.
I basically just want to shoot things. Valheim has the wacking covered.

In full fact I think I may download war zone and fortnite and have a battle royale battle royale. Could get ape eggs in the mix too but I don’t think there’s space on the ps5 disc.

I played one game of PUBG the other night. I shot someone, and was then shot by someone else. It was ok. Not sure I'll ever go back to it though.

I played Valheim a bit earlier. All I’m doing really is skirting round the edges of the ‘Black Forest’, chopping down trees and occasionally building a house / encampment. Twice now I’ve been despatched by a poison shaman, but I’ve never felt like I’ve got adequate revenge.
In the absence of any suitable aggressive ideas, or skill, I just build a stockade.

(If he had commentated on a snail racing tournament I would have been happy to listen.) Most of them have been hurriedly put together and more and better will be posted. Rather than chuck one of the auto-generated YouTube clips, here he is in an episode of Pointless, which cheered me up not that long after coming out of hospital ...
