Sent my TV away to be repaired (a line of red had appeared).
Came back and other things were also fixed that I had put down as being model specific issue (blacks not being brilliant, blooming on any dark scene).
So worth the care charge I have been paying.

I'm definitely not having the best weekend. One of the younglings has infected me with a bad cold. A real stinker. Second class return to Dottingham level of cold. I'm just reheating some chicken and chick pea curry I made earlier for the gang, but I didn't eat any as wasn't hungry. I've added 4 (FOUR) whole scotch bonnets. I haven't chopped (squished) them up (yet) as i need to try the hot liquor first. I won't be able to taste it mind.
No games.

Alex Salmond will bring that in. It seems really weird to me. 12 noon GMT is the point when the sun reaches its zenith at 0 longitude. All of Scotland is in the western hemisphere so is actually behind GMT. Moving to double Summertime would place solar noon past 2pm by the clock time That is absurd. Are we so wedded to clocks that it is easier to pretend 10 am is noon than to admit we would be working 7-3 rather than 9-5? The disconnect between clock time and real time is one of the main reasons the Spanish eat late and stay up late. For half the year their clocks are telling them it is 10pm when it is 'really' 8pm. |

I'm watching Mozart's Requiem from the BBC ENO broadcast in November 2020. Four stars. Would recommend. Skip the first 8 minutes of intro though. I'm also ripping my Bruckner CDs to Flack. Sheeps / anyone else, I'll be on Fortnite at about 9pm GMT. Oh, whilst I'm being a wanker, R3's Sound of gaming yesterday was about the Baftas. It's worth a listen, if you like shit game-score music. They seemed to promise music about sitting there and watching the price of neeps, but then it didn't seem to be played. I dunno.
