Work. Uurrgghh. On the commute. Pret better be open in GLC or there will be much fist shaking and gnashing of teeth.
Bit nippy out. TV. No Games. Just a run around the streets in TD2. The M4 replica is top banana.

And lo behold, there was much gnashing of teeth and wailing and crying. Crankcaller had to go to the co-op for his lunch and was denied the Italian chicken salad.

Morning all.
I am on the Subaru Owners Club website just to see if those clowns have messed anything up with the car*. My sister wanted to spray 'wet-start' on it. No Sis, the reason it won't start and the alarm's going off is because you are a twit and the car thinks you are trying to steal it.
*and for general knowledge.

Morning. Cold and sunny out. Real bite to the wind.
Games: Played a little Metro Exodus, I rescued Anna from a hole and shot some mutants.
Telly: Red Heat. Not a classic Arnie film.
OTTM: I need a new phone as my current one cannot install apps and it seems I may need apps to go to pubs and stuff in future. So to amazon to browse I go. I expect Android is the best operating system? I liked Windows but I think they gave up with phones and I despise Apple.

Pref.Mam. has doggedly avoided anything vaguely "smart" about a phone but I think I've persuaded her to get one, just in case.

Maybe give the Natural History Museum a call (if your phone works), they might be interested in such a rare and virtually extinct species. I've had Android phones for years. They work. *shrugs*

You don't want your phone to be cleverer than you. That's basic.
Oh.

I had a Windows phone in the early 2010's. It was a fancy HTC phone and it was brilliant and I loved it. I then dropped the fucking thing on the concrete path outside work and it shattered. I still had a year and a half of £35 a month payments to make on it.

I had a Nokia Windows phone quite a few years back. It was a pretty good OS, albeit with a shortage of apps.

Morning all!
I've completed monster hunter*, beat Magnamalo who was actually pretty easy. More like Marshmalo! I got not one, but two magnamalo plates for it. I've yet to see anything that needs a magna plate to craft though. Now there is a whole new world of hunting with all the best monsters, angry electric bear wolf, soap dragon, angry night cat, all the lads.
OTTM - iPhones are available from Apple.

I expect Android is the best operating system? I liked Windows but I think they gave up with phones and I despise Apple. I recently bought a Nokia 5.3 Android sim-free, on the basis that: - It was relatively cheap
- I needed Dual Sim
- Nokia have the relatively least worst social and environmental record of the major companies (apart from Fair Phone, and I didn't want to pay anything like that much).
- I despise Apple
It works. I bought it from Argos, and had it delivered, for less than £140. I've had similar priced Moto phones in the past, and they seem to be overall very similar in how they work and what they do. I have a slight preference for buying phones from John Lewis, as they're reasonably priced, and good customer service the one time something went wrong with a phone.
I try not to enrich Jeff, and Sheep doesn't like me to use Carphone Warehouse, as he got pissed off with them once about 15 years ago.
I would not recommend Wileyfox. Their phone seemed to not want to work when I once had one of them.
TLDR: Yeah, Android, whatever.

Sheep's about to say he always uses Carphone Warehouse, and he'd entirely forgotten the incident, and he didn't realise I'd been boycotting them on his behalf and at great personal inconvenience to me, for the past 15 years.
Edit: or, even worse, I got mixed up, and I was meant to be boycotting Phones4u.

I did.
They refused to replace a cracked screen. I had only had the phone a few days and had been very careful with it. I had not dropped it and it had been in a soft carry case. You could tell it had not been mistreated. I have only had one other cracked screen and that was my fault. I dropped an old phone. I don't generally abuse phones. I have not been back to Carphone Warehouse since. That is about 5 phones ago so they have missed out on far more than the cost of a replacement screen. I do not mind if other people use them, but I will not. Previously I had always used them (for about 10 years) and had never had a problem. It would have been very easy for them to check my account history. If I ever go with anyone to get a phone I always steer them to a different shop. I wrote to them about it, but did not get a reply. It is surprising how much one piece of bad customer service can annoy you.
So far as I am concerned Carphone Warehouse can go fuck themselves.

There are loads of phone shops everywhere.

Phone shops are the worst. Its basically a bad loan to get a phone for free now. Buy the phone outright and then get a cheap sim only pay monthly contract. A decent iPhone can last you four or five years.
Then use all the savings to buy playstations and 4K TVs.

I've used Sony phones for the last 15 years. They are the best. 4*
Hi
Watched some European cup footy last night. They played the match at Madrid's training ground, which I learned is named after the great Alfredo Di Stéfano, who I remember from Pro Evo as being like a young Tuffers. 4*
No games. 4*
OTTM, started a new job yesterday at a firm in London. As I live in the utopia that is the north, this is only possible due to the new worving from home world we now live in. Previously I wouldn't have taken it, or would've lived in a hotel like a tramp in a layby. I hope I don't start talking like dick van Dyke. 4*

I get my phones second hand from CEX and a sim from giffgaff. Lavverly jabbly, as Tuffers would say.
