I saw a Nuclear power station yesterday. Shining in the sun. It looked good as these things go.
I sometimes struggle to remember whether nuclear power stations are the fount of all evil producing waste that remains toxic for thousands of years and with the potential to poison all of us, or whether they are the future, a glowing beacon of hope and progress and the promise of less than 2c of warming.
Maybe they can be both. An evil glowing slightly too bright beacon of hope. Perhaps we work for Minas Morgul.

Good day all, Last week I went to the Lake District, had a pretty sweet time, nice walks. Draught beers and food served to me in beer gardens. Was great to get out of town for a bit.
No games of any kind.
Today I have been experiencing the worst hangover I have had since 1st,2nd and 3rd of January 2020. Really feel absolutely rotten inside and out. If you cut me open I'm pretty sure I would just bleed bile and excrement. Dont switch to Gin when you have run out of beer, and definetly dont switch to white wine when youve run out of Gin.

I think I'm going to restore a radio-controlled car. I've begun watching radio-controlled car restoration videos on YouTube. I've started bidding for parts on EBay.
Is this a world of madness? Maybe it's the opposite of madness. A prosaic world.

But what about the nuclear power? I've seen the images. I remember the pictures from the GCSE Geography books - cannisters of nuclear waste, oozing on the sea bed. Electric cars do feel futuristic. When I see one I feel that, at last, the 21st century is making good on its promise. You’re moving generation and emissions away from public areas. We’re quite fortunate in the UK that the energy-mix is rapidly decarbonising - every time we have sunny and windy days, the stats are quite impressive for percentage of green energy production.

Nuclear power only gets a bad rap because of the Chernobyl drama. Shame it had to be another one set in the 80s.
It's like what happened to sharks after Jaws.

In hind sight I think I was the one talking B**locks earlier, man made can also include the building of nuclear facilities (fusion not fission though). Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland all have some version of Geothermal energy.

Pref mam is concerned that we may be the only people in the world who have never seen Line of Duty, so we are watching Line of Duty.
It's ok so far.
