Does anyone here think that we are condemned to repeat ourselves over and over and over and over again?
This is neither Heaven nor Hell so we must be in Purgatory.

The X Files (s3 e20) Jose Chung's From Outer Space Good ep. I also particularly like Jose Chung’s ‘Doomsday Defense’ from Millenium.

Faceless's telly review: Line of Duty S1 ep3.
Quite good. The work experience lad from internal audit is a right little dickhead though.

My son has developed an obsession with Ben 10. It's fucking dreadful. Really, really bad.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56865597Almost unbelievable. For the last week the Beeb has been full of stuff about the integrity and authenticity of our hallowed football traditions. Now without a hint of irony they're publishing articles about how the EPL can best cannibalise Scottish football for the, err, financial benefit of, naturally, 'all'. Fuck David Moyes. If I ever see him online, I'm going to invite him to play Apex then logout.

Morning!
Gamesblog: the PS3 was on, and I browsed through the downloaded games... OutRun and Daytona both on there! Thought I’d give them a quick go, only to discover the battery completely dead on the game pad. Boo urns.
TVblog: well into the second series of Spaced.
Filmblog: 1917. The attention to detail is astounding in that film. And stunning cinematography. 4*
Amigablog: more coding. Added some background interest, and also did a bit more tidying of the main image. My next challenge is to use sprites to get a character to dance.

Outrun is the only arcade game I've ever completed, well worth my 10p investment.

It doesn't seem to be available to stream in the UK. EDIT: I found and ordered a DVD box set of Season 2 for £3.79 delivered from Music Magpie, which includes the episode you mention. A bargain. They also had Seasons 1 and 3 but more expensive. I'll see how I get on with s2.

5/7
I liked Millennium. It was good. Partly because he had an amazing face.
The answer to the question about why the two big Scottish clubs can't join the EPL is obvious. They'd have to improve significantly to be good enough.
In other news, I see Mr Tids survived the night.

Lee Griffiths was terrible in England. A league one player. That he's spent 7 years as major player for the runaway champions of Scotland is a sign of the difference. Celtic and Rangers are thinking of big European nights from 30 years ago, when the PL had less money. They might do ok in one off matches, but over the course of a seasonal n they'd end up deep fried and served with chips every week. Celtic and Rangers would need to enter at Championship level to get their squads up to standard. I think they'd find life tough for a couple of seasons, but would buy promotion. They could slot in to the PL. Celtic round about the top 6, Rangers (maybe) a little lower, in general. Butyou are knocking every club down 2 places. No one will vote for that. Newcastle and Brighton won't want to accept being relegated. Norwich and Fulham would never be in the PL.
The other Scottish clubs would struggle to settle in to Championship level. I think Hearts, Hibs and maybe Aberdeen and Dundee Utd could do it. But not all at the same time. And unless they found 5,000 extra fans each they'd always struggle. The other sides would mosy be league one. Hamilton might struggle in League 2.
So basically it's a non-starter, but a good way to wind Rolling up.
Four stars. Recommended.

I got 7 out of 7 on that quiz but 3 were guessed.
Shenguin you're right about sellick/sevco and I know nothing about fitba. The fans of both clubs would argue with you to the death though. And also why the other shouldn't join.
Nutella and peanut butter on toast with banana and sliced strawberries. The PB I like on its own but in this case it's to hide the Nutella from the child so she eats her Weetabix.
Afro-American guy tapping his head meme goes {here}
TV. Tin Star. Did anyone watch it? It's great. Certainly the 1st series.
Games. Side mission in the Division 2.

I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel. It's just going to be one video of me doing a piece to camera saying "ah fucking telt ye..."
So when the child six months after I first attempt to get her to play a game - in this instance fall guys - then decides after watching some youtuber that the game looks fun and she wants to play it I can point her to said channel. Though I think kids YouTube might block it.
I mean, I know I can suck the fun out of most things but Christ almighty. Its revisionism of the highest order.

Outrun the Sega arcade driver? Tremendous. That’s the one. It is superb. So glad I grabbed it before it was removed from the store. Honestly, it should have been a physical release. The PS2 got OutRun: Coast 2 Coast after all.
