I'm not going anywhere, either.
I woke up with back pain and general achiness, so today I'm opting for some light housework and sitting on the sofa playing video games. Later tonight I will be sitting on my sofa watching someone else playing video games. Hopefully that will sort it out.
Like every Sunday I was buying my usual share of 1,200 turnips from Daisy Mae. I already have millions in the bank, so I'm not short of money, but I would like to get the Nook Miles 10,000,000 stalk market profit achievement one day, for completion's sake.
Today I was cutting it a bit fine. I rocked up at Daisy Mae's location one minute to 12 with 124,856 bells in my pocket, hoping this would be enough. The price was 104 Bells.
1,200 x 104 = 124,800
Phew! And a whole 56 Bells left to spend on sweets.
Last night I also played more XBC. Turns out the bird that was irritating me, the Sunlight Schvaik, is part of a side quest. Luckily it respawned at one point so that I could beat it to a pulp and finish the quest. Some time later I passed through the same area and got attacked again by this little ray of sunshine. So I beat it to a pulp once more.
HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, OLD MA..., err, BIRD?

Not tried racing games before now. I'm finding that the faster I go more and more trees are jumping out infront of me.

Hot dogs for lunch.
Chilli on the hob for later. In a MASSIVE pot. Oooh mince, onions, carrots, celery, garlic (full bulb), Oxo, tomatoes, Tom puree, chilli powder, cumin, black eye beans, chick peas. ALL THE FIBRE.
OTTM, just scoffed 3 (THREE) gold bars. I'm sure they are 1/2 (HALF) the size they used to be.
OOTTM, my HUGE barnet, which was last cut in October, and has grown all by itself into a sort of greying Jim Royle/Terry nutkins splice is now developing Des Lynam side-bouffants, it's beautiful, but I must visit a barbers this week. The length at the back is like Glen Hoddle in Diamond Lights.
No games.

I went into a branch of Waterstones earlier today, just on the way back from a run / jog around a park. I was just idly browsing and I picked up a book called The Star Wars Character Encyclopedia.
No Porkins. There was no Jek Porkins.

I heard somewhere that Porkins was originally going to have a prosthetic pig snout. He was going to be a kind of pig-like ... alien? but the snout wouldn’t stay on. It was something like that ... But there is the man in the Mos Eisley Cantina who has a snout, so I’m not 100 percent sure I believe it. |

The guy who played Porkins went on to appear in Hear My Song with Adrian Dunbar, before the latter became obsessed with bent coppers. I watched it recently and found it whimsical and mostly boring.
