Boris to say if Boris broke the law? Isn't this the pm who said he would deliberately break international law earlier this year My understanding is that he issued a flat denial.

My maternal Grandfather was a member of the Communist party and the boilermakers shop steward in the local shipyard. I never knew him but apparently he fought for folks jobs etc before the wankers spoiled it by striking for no reason.
Are we talking about socialism as it's international workers memorial Day?

I also went to a Tony Benn meeting, a few years later. He spoke fluently about the perils of rail privatisation and puffed away on his pipe in open defiance of the university's smoking regulations. Nobody questioned his socialist credentials, presumably because he was genial af.

I considered getting more involved in the trade union I'm in. Walking around, patting cigars into people's top pockets, ordering sandwiches on the union's dime. A good life.
Actually our union's a bit of a shambles. Well - at a local level.

Hi
Work is extremely aggressively busy. Maybe I need to join a union.
Today I wrestled a pigeon. A big MASSIVE stinkin mutant rat with wings. It had fallen down our chimney 2 days ago, but couldn't fly back up, nor could it get out into the house as the slot (chute?) at the back of the gas fire was too narrow. Nor could I reach in and try and grab it for the same reason. The only way in was to remove to fire from the fireplace. With it being gas, I had to get a gas man in. He very clearly and aggressively said he was having nothing to do with the pigeon, that that was my role in this operation, and he would merely ensure there were no gas leaks. So, with me a bath towel in hands, he pulled back the fire, I leapt into action. Fuck me, this thing went flapping mental. Eventually I managed to wrap it tight in the towel, took it out the back and threw the towel and contents onto the lawn. Nothing. Then slowly some movement as it managed to get free from the towel. Then it just sat there not moving. I assumed I'd broken it so went over. At which point it rose from the dead and flew away. I'd saved it! A red letter day and no mistake.
For this reason, I've brought BDT forward to BDWW. It's what the late Turry Dinky would have wanted, RIP in peace.
No gms.

Not me. I'm watching the two 'peoples clubs' playing a sporting game of footer in the community European cup semi final.

Yes. There's a big red 'Self Destruct' button that I can push. What's it worth?

Have you read The Pigeon? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pigeon_(novella)A powerful read. If you haven’t read it I recommend it with every atom of my being.

No I haven't. It's £6.99 on Amazon though. So maybe I will. 'The Pigeon episode' (which is what it will now be known as in our house) really got the blood flowing, senses keen, I was like a ninja with that towel. Not fear, like I had with 'The badger episode' a few years back, this was different.
Hopefully I haven't got pigeon fanciers lung.
