I'm downloading Deadlight. Tuffers is a hell of an influencer.

Let me regale you with tales of my recent video games adventures.

Yesterday I was accosted by Sprinkle. She just wanted to give me a new nickname, but it looks as if the constant pestering and promises of ad-free reading and 50% off for the first 3 months got to her, poor thing:

Then I played more Xenoblade Chronicles where I finally got my second female character. I need to build up affinity between her and Sharla as quickly as possible so that I can fulfil the unreasonable request of that brat Narine from way back when. I've showered both of them with gifts and put both of them in my party. Love each other! Love!! Love, dammit!!

Speaking of love, I also brought Ken and Matryona together. I feel very sorry for players who miss parts of this quest and end up being forced to dump Ken (even if he's more dumpable than a dumpling). How do you feel about games that give you a seemingly innocuous choice where one path turns out to be inferior further down the line?

I was also thinking about how nice and normal (to me) the British voice acting of that game sounds and how different this must be for American players. Some of them are rather switching to Japanese dialogue because they are finding the English dialogue too weird. As Reyn would say

Brilliant.

I was expecting it to end with a horrific high speed crash or a volley of shots.
Bit disappointed.

I had a dream last wherein I received a threatening email from Tuffers. I woke up with a sense of unease that has lingered all morning.

For all of you who bleat about blooodborne being too hard, it has now been beaten by a five year old.

Personally I thought it was too easy and stopped playing it shortly after easily defeating Ron the vacuuming spider, as I didn’t want the game to embarrass itself any further with its ease.
