I ate all the cauliflower and broccoli last night, with spuds and beef. I had this belief that I would wake up invigorated, with a new love for life.
It didn't quite work out like that.
The horror, the horror...

Hello all.
The red wine I consumed yesterday evening resulted in copious snoring. Apparently.
Gamesblog: no
TVblog: Friends. South Park. Babylon 5.
OTTM: this morning we drove to Stamner Park and had a good walk in the woods. Lovely stuff. Rain, hail, and sleet all slammed onto the car on the way there, but luckily the weather held off while we were outside.

Greetings
I have simultaneously cooked a Chilli con Carne and a Ragù alla Bolognese.
Multitasking that was a joy to behold.

Ok, so which of our resident Brummoys is responsible for the 300 tonne fat berg in the city's sewers?

Ok, so which of our resident Brummoys is responsible for the 300 tonne fat berg in the city's sewers? *glares at Sheep2* That's no way to refer to our lovely waterways. We've got more canals than Venice and I bet that the Venetian fatbergs aren't nearly as impressive.

I see the pdf which contained BoJo's mobile number (and which I linked to in Thursday's box) has now been edited to remove the number. Luckily I downloaded a copy. Does this mean that BoJo still hasn't changed his number and I now have it? Maybe I should give him a ring. I could ask him which Tory donor is paying for young Wilfred's nanny. EDIT: He's obviously feeling the pinch... www.countrylife.co.uk/property/boris-johnsons-oxfordshire-cottage-is-up-for-rent-225487

Bit unfair on Jesus. He supported payment of taxes, saying render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. He also did that coin in the fish's mouth trick so he could pay taxes, albeit at no cost to himself.

100% it would have been Churchill. I am board, as long as that means spend all day in bed and smoke and drink to excess.

Camilla has rather got a monopoly on emulating Diana, it seems to me. I guess I could pop the question to Charles, but I'm not convinced he'd say yes.

Iirc in that massive BBC Greatest Brits ever poll around 2004 (which Churchill won), both Bono and King Arthur made the top 20, despite being Irish and made up, respectively.
