Bin men came here too. What a time to be alive.
My brother won 4 Fortnite solo games in a row, then I joined for duos and we were rubbish. Let the bodies pile high! Mostly our bodies.
Played a bit of PUBG and we got 2nd twice. I also download a free fishing simulator game on Steam.
Watched Timecop too, it was OK I guess.

Morning loafers!
Watched the snooker, ate a tremendous curry and played the Resi8 demo.
Today I'm going to potter, play deadlight, eat leftover curry and watch the snooker.
Friday is Resi8 release day. Boom!
Have a nice bank holiday. Probably indoors as it's a bit cold and wet. Much like my face.

A dark and dismal morning. Perfect Bank Holiday weather.
Yesterday for dinner I finally had the paneer tikka masala I had been longing for since Shenguin had been bragging about having all the paneer. 4 stars.
Games: I thought that I should give myself plenty of time in Xenoblade so that I can move the story on and take on yet more side quests. Instead I spent what felt like hours talking to everyone with ears and a mouth in Colony 9 just to get new dialogue. Nothing is more satisfying than having the little stars appear to let you know you've been successful, but man, these people are hard work.
Then I did another of the moral choice side quests and found out that no matter what you do, you lose affinity with the colony. I didn't even know that could happen. I think there might be a follow-up and although it was an impossible situation my conscience is clear. Guess I'll be talking to even more people.
At least I also had a few successful heart-to-hearts.
And after all that I joined the weekly playthrough of Trails in the Sky for 4 1/2 hours. When it ended at half past midnight I just collapsed into bed. Great fun, though. Next time should be the last. Top of the banana.

Games: Started a new game of Doom (2012) last night. Still great.
Grub: Burger and chips with no ketchup, just Yankee mustard. (Don't ask why)
Carchat: A lengthy debate with Mrs T apropos 'The Green Machine'. Something along the lines of whether we should keep it as, quite frankly, it's too fookin' expensive to run. However, there is the counter-argument, which is 'Dad wanted you to have it'.
Harumph.

You are quite right about the Doom 3 weapon selector. Why on earth they put the grenades between the smg and the chain gun is beyond belief.
Oh, I finished Doom3 the other night (and all the DLC)

Morning,
Met up with a couple of mates yesterday afternoon and drank beers in a field like we were teenagers. I then spent the rest of the afternoon feeling drowsy.
TV: Watched my football team get a comfortable win, which is unusual these days. Then watched 2 episodes of S2 of Line o' Duty. Entertaining nonsense.

Monster Hunter Rise. I’ve decided to change weapon. I’ve been Hammer or Charge Blade for the whole of the game and then I completed the HR8 urgent quest, so I decided I should try out the twin blades. I suppose all three are close up weapons, I’m just an up close and personal sorta guy, ask my Animal Crossing villagers.
However working my way back through the materials has meant revisiting some of the low level quests to grind shells and scales, which has allowed me to get my routes really mapped out.
I’ve spotted a gap in my weapons too, I need to get more Ice elemental or blast, I seem to have let a lot of those options slip me by.

The weather forecast is currently for continuous rain for the next 15 days in Edinburgh. Just kill me now.
Had to cancel my first drinks in many months with some friends this eve because the venue couldnt guarantee we wouldnt be sitting in the rain due to lack of covered tables. Im in a bit of a rage about it, argggh!  |
