I had a couple of mishaps in PUBG vehicles this weekend. One time I got a four wheeled drive off-road vehicle and tried to drive through a two foot high metal fence. I didn't have enough speed and the front wheels just drove over it without fully getting over, leaving the car balancing there, like a pair of weighing scales. I spent the next ten minutes running across the countryside to get into the safe zone, and died ...

They couldn't just sit on their hands and do diddly squid about the lack of tourists. The pandemic has been a real calamarity for the town, even if some people don't give a flying squid about it.

Work is unnecessarily aggressive. Need another bank holiday.
I think I'd prefer a giant pink lobster to a squid.
Games, completed Act 2 of Deadlight: Directors Cut, with 100% collectibles, last night. One more Act to go. I'm glad I'm getting the full benefit of my PS5 by playing a game that came out on Xbox 360 in 2012.

In the afternoon I made use of a gap in the rain clouds to get my postal vote in the mail. As soon as I was back home the horizontal rain started again. Excellent timing, if I may say so myself. Democracy lives to fight another day in the West Midlands mayoral election.
Earlier I had a delivery of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. "Sorry, it's a bit bashed up, but everything's there", the delivery bloke said whilst dumping a completely torn up parcel, contents spilling out, on my doormat. Yes, everything was there, but I'm glad that it was nothing more personal than hot drinks. I'm still feeling judged for ordering so much hot chocolate and my choice of espresso.
Put the bins out tonight as I'm not one of those uncaring cnuts that made the binmen work on a Bank Holiday Monday.
Dinner: teriyaki beef stir fry with udon noodles.
